10.5 Sterling 05 Super Duty Dana 60 Rear steer axle build part 2

I am planning to do a sterling rear steer. What are you using for inner axle seals?

Haven't crossed that bridge but current idea is lathing a piece to fit the tube with o rings to seal the OD and find a seal that with work with that and the shaft.

@@AttwoodsGarage thanks for the reply! Excellent build! I like the idea of putting the ram on the back side of the axle. An old thread on Pirate has a guy who used front 05 superduty inner axle seals in the sterling after doing some machining.

Okay that is a dana 60 made by Spicer not a Sterling that is made by ford. Sterling doesn't make a steering axle. Great job though 👏

It is a Sterling axle that I have modified 05SD Dana 60 inner C's to fit. I'm using parts from both axles to build this rear steer. Thanks for watching!
