I think saying “close decisions can go either way” is a bit of an injustice to Sterling. Majority of people gave him the first round, a lot of people gave him at least one 10-8 round in 2 and 3 and Yan didn’t get the finish. It wasn’t complete dominance for 5 rounds but it was a deserving win, not every close fight is a robbery

I went apeshit like he was my friend winning the title lol he won the first season of tuf I watched and was always a fan because of how obnoxiously hilarious he was. An honorable mention, imo, is Conor v Nate 2. I don’t think many people expected that Conor would be able to make it passed round 3, let alone win a fight that went to decision.
