Same here. I find that bad physical health can have negative effects on my mental health or if my mental health is bad I neglect myself which affects my physical health. It's a hard cycle to get out of.

Mentally healthy people don't have triggers. You have triggers when you have PTSD from something. That means you're traumatised. You can't help it as long as the trauma isn't processed. That takes time and other resources and shouldn't be a reason to judge people.

Some healthy NOTES 1. SAY HI TO YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND- THE KITCHEN - feel free to ask friends and family for recipie ideas - have cooking session together - learning to cook will save you a chunk of long term money 2. GET YOUR BODY MOVING - go for a jog even if for 20 mins - exercise - physical activity has positive impact both on your mind and physical health 3. STAY HYDRATED - drink smoothies, shakes that are healthy - staying hydrated will give your body vitamins 4. SET A CONSISTENT BED TIME SCHEDULE - using phone late at night can suppress melatonin (hormone that regulates sleep cycle) - can increase risk of cancer - indulge in a healthy sleep lifestyle - even if using phone, put it in the night mode. 5. MAP AND PRIORiTIZE YOUR GOALS - create an inspiration and pin pictures and quotes to it that represent your goals - look at it every day to keep a track of your progress - invest in a planner or a bullet journal - adapt a resilient mindset 6. DECLUTTER - establishing cleanliness can make you more productive - it makes your everyday tasks less stressful - increase your overall happiness - throw away things that you don't need anymore - clear space means clean mind 7. BE HYGIENIC - make sure to keep yourself Hygienic 8. FIND BEAUTY IN THE PECULIAR - notice the beautiful things that happen everyday like beautiful sunset - you'll be surprised to see what we're blind to on a daily basis 9. EXERCISE YOUR MIND - make sure to give your brain TLC - read random articles, podcasts, watch educational videos that you're curious about 10. PRACTICE SELF-COMPASSION - practice positive mantras like 'yes you can' , 'you got this' - surround yourself with your loved ones that remind you of your true worth - you got potential, time is to nourish it My passion is to share summaries like Started doing it on my channel with PDF summaries ✌️ I am ready for some new healthy habits 🧐

I usually make toast, and an orange (or any kind of fruit), sometimes oatmeal also! I am a homeschooler so I get my school work done before I do anything. Hi!, I just wanted to say thank you for making this video. I have figured all these out myself before finding your video this just gives me more resilience in that fact that what I do and urge others to do isn't some sort silly stupid thing. There are a lot of people out there who will argue with all of these but I stuck to my guns and did what I needed to do for myself. The whole reading thing, I don't really enjoy reading because for me it's exhausting, doesn't mean I am uneducated just Reading is a necessity, not a fun thing. I have found lots of different ways to learn, practically, experience, Games, videos, audio, art, philosophy, stories etc... So thank you for addressing this it really means a lot to me through growing up and school of being told I was stupid, had no imagination and a lot of judgment because I wasn't a reader. Thank you for all the awesome videos!

*Sees the new video* " 10 Characteristics of a Mentally Healthy Person" Me: Yup, I have none of the characterisistics/tips said in that video
@Mindskarred

The actual Video title is highly misleading. Don't mistake me, I really like the video and the idea but these aren't characteristics but "habits" as you stated in the intro. I would advice to change the title so it doesn't count as clickbait. Would love to watch a video about actual characteristics or mindsets of mentally healthy people though.

This video is even better than the usual upload as people will have a guideline to keep healthy and work towards. A medium. So proud of this quickly developing channel.

For the mapping and prioritizing goals, I'm just going to grab a lot of sticky notes, find a specific area where I could stick those sticky notes on the wall, and every single sticky note has a different thing, projects, modivators, doodles, drawing ideas, stuff like that!
