BaconMan was my best friend's guest xbox 360 tag when I was a kid. He used to make me a bacon sandwich in the morning after a sleepover. We aren't friends anymore 😔 word of advice: Be careful declaring the end of a relationship. You might regret it and not get a chance to rebuild it.

I have 2 X solo Free Companies of 8 characters each on FFXIV. And one of those FC's is named 'Makin' Bacon' One of the 8 characters in that particular FC is even named 'Piggin Nikkers' who I dress only in the Pig head glamour and ladies underpants.

Some other games where you can play as food that I can think of: M&M's video games (M&M's Kart Racer being the first I think of for that) Ninjabread Man ClayFighter series (with the character Taffy) EF-12 (I know, it's a fighting game engine, but one of the pre-made characters is a giant thing of sushi) Though technically, every zombie game where you play as a non-zombified human, you're playing as the antagonists' food...

With the way you emphasized the word “quirky” I thought we might see at least quick visual honorable mention of Kwirk the titular tomato from the Game Boy game (or Spud the Potato if you want to get Japanese version about this). Depending on your region the hero of the game is either a fruit or a vegetable.

Wow mind blown, never knew that about resident evil 2, and I've owned a copy since it's release in 98 and it's one of my favourite games of all time, I've definitely not got the patience to unlock tofu though.

Ziggy: Technically all eggs are edible, some eggs are edible only once. (but we get into snail territory and some types of Roe with those). As for bird eggs, except the eggs of the Wild Pitoui and the blue capped Ifrit, all are safe for consumption

botanically speaking, the tomato and pumpkin are fruits and not vegetables but botanically speaking, there is no such thing as a vegetable its all leaves, stems/stocks, flowers, fruits, and roots

Yes you can eat lizard eggs even if they're fertilized. Just go to Luisiana. Chicken eggs as well. It's a delacy in the Phillipines called Belut.
