Haven’t skated in 7 years and my son recently wanted to try it out, so I went to a skate shop and built a board to skate with. Over the past week I’ve realized that I still know how to power slide, Ollie, kickflip, and a few more basic things. Teaching my son is going to be fun lol

I'm working on riding the board. I've always liked skateboarding, but I never really was able to get one. I finally did a year ago and I never touched it bc I was scared people would judge me and group me in with the "posers" but I met some very nice people who are helping me build confidence and know that learning is okay, and everyone has to start somewhere.

Try to teach a friend. Buy an extra board or something, and maybe a spare helmet. Skateboarding is intimidating and most people are scared to try, but if you have a good setup and a good spot to teach someone how to cruise it’s addictive and they will usually get into it. I just got back into skateboarding and taught two of my three daughters how to and two of their friends now they all like it and as for my third daughter she is happy with the scooter
