I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *esluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

Hi Alice, can you please make a video on the best places to smell perfumes in Paris? In particular, places you can go where the sales associates do not bother you and you can spend the time leisurely sniffing and testing the perfumes without feeling like you will have to buy something. I had heard Galleries Laffayette and La Samaritaine were good spots.

It’s actually not. Polene is very affordable. Quite luxury is the term that stands for very expensive out of reach for most people items that don’t have logos and are very minimalist. For as much as Polene having minimalist design, most of people can afford it, which nocks down the brand from the luxury category.

Hi Alice. There is also a new, contemporary Parisian leather goods company called Fleuron. I don't think it's popular yet, but I have read reviews that the leather they use to manufacture their bags is not the same as, but comparable to Hermé's togo leather. Not sure how accurate that comparison is. I really like their Swann bag.

I checked the size because I was not sure between medium and large. After measuring, it is 28 cm so this is the large. To me it looks like a medium size, not too big and large enough to put my Chanel wallet, keys, make up ect. Honestly this is the perfect size and I would not go bigger. This is only my opinion of course, but I find maxi Chanel size not elegant.

Loulou looks cute but honestly not worth the money. I used to love the YSL chain bag with the pompom some years ago but it is more a night out bag than a day bag. I don't see Parisian wearing this one honestly but if you want to take a bag not too expensive for the trip it is fine.

@@dianaaltesse The only bag worth the money are good investment bag meaning timeless (they will never be outdated) and high quality. Only Classic flap bag ane 2.55 and some Hermes bags, the rest is just waste of money for the price which is the case for YSL (their bags are not made in France like many so called "luxury" designer brands). Moynat and Goyard are also excellent classics.
