Hej Sten. Men….

Well maybe I can UPDATE this, since I'm IR'd,and Diabetic. On FULL KETO Diet, I'm unsure what my BP is, but lately I haven't been feeling good at all , chest pains, constant burping while breathing. Doing intermittent Fasting. My diabetes was getting worser last year, and unfortunately doctors sent me to the foot doctor‼️ for the swelling caused by Diabetes‼️ Bloods was taken, but weeks later proved nothing because I'm on KETO and they don't know for some dumb reason. So, I told them and visited numerous times still no correct diagnosis. It's tough, a lot of times symptoms are hard to tell, and it's easy to be nutrient deficient. Lack of exercise is also tough because of my given situation of sitting. I can't do the things I used to do because of this situation I'm in, and it was doing good but now it got worser suddenly. Legs got swollen up again even though I was doing good on KETO, still doing one meal a day then IF.

My 88 year old dad had a heart attack5 months ago. They have been switching up medications and adding medications and he is all messed up. This week, shortness of breath and blood pressure readings of 200/100+. He refuses to go to ER and his primary care doctor isn't taking it seriously and will not have him come in before his appointment time which is 2 days from now. The explanation of the pulmonary hypertension was very helpful. I have a better understanding of what might be happening.

Treat your HBP! My brother at 62 suffered three ischemic strokes as a result of not treating his high blood pressure and he is currently in a nursing home thinking he will starve since no one is feeding him. (He has gained weight there) he has past memories but lost daily living skills and always lives in anxiety and paranoia. He lost control of his bowels and can not walk without severe dizziness and falling. It all could have been avoided. 😢

I have always wondered/asked why is it that doctors want everyone to have the exact same BP regardless of any physical factors like height, weight, exercise levels, family history, diet, etc. They just pick a number and if you don't have that number the one time they take your BP, you must go on meds. I have never had a doctor even try and offer a reason why, except of course to get you on meds and keep you coming back for more.

What about Potassium Chloride deficiency. I had heard the body needs about 3000 - 4700 mg of Potassium each day. Most may get a good amount through diet, but those fasting can take a no sodium salt. Since Potassium supplements are federally limited to 99mg. I heard that if you are low in Potassium than your body will retain Sodium to compensate thus having the ability to raise blood pressure.

When I was a kid I'd get nose bleeds a lot but they stopped before I got diagnosed with it. I was never obese either. Always ate pretty healthfully. I don't have a sweet tooth and carbs have always made me sleepy so I avoided them always. Still I'll check my BP and normal for me is 140+/90+ I could have a stroke at any minute. Sent to hospital for X-rays and blood tests. Dr. Thinks it may be my medication change as my bp went crazy low. Friday she will see the blood test. But considering it may be the level of the med and will reduce me from 30 to 20 on that med.
