I genuinely felt so safe in this video and I couldn't be more grateful to you. I am at the lowest possible fitness level and overweight. I have tried other so called "beginner" workouts that have made me feel like a complete failure. I want to thank you for your warm and welcoming energy, as well as all the alternatives and how to videos you have.

Same here. My mum and I did two of these videos together -- I need to loosen up my body as part of physiotherapy after an accident left me lame and increasingly very stiff. We do Qigong as well which is similar but done standing up.

Your professionalism is so evident in these videos. You don't make false claims about hour glass figures and what not and it is clear that you care about our health and ability to function even though we could be half way accross the world. I work in a physicaly demanding field and love doing your 10-15 minute pilates work outs in the morning before work just to align myself a bit better.

I am starting a journey of fit by 50. I was in my 20's and early 30s very active and did Pilates regularly. Life, nursing school, and kids happened, and I haven't' done Pilates in YEARS. I forgot how wonderful it feels, and I wanted to thank you for how authentic and genuine you were as I eased back in to this wonderful practice. I anticipate I will do this basics video for a while until I get more comfortable. I almost never comment on You Tube. But you were so awesome! Thanks.

Hi Jessica, I'm a Christian man, and I have lower back pains and stiffness in my hips. I lift weights, so I recently started trying out Pilates with your beginner videos to try and enhance mobility for squats and deadlifts. I found the exercise on my side doing the clam shell leg things extremely difficult. I'm only 35, but I believe if I practice, my form and comfortability will improve. No instructor on KZbin seems as patient and forgiving as you seem with your virtual students. I just wanted to say thank you for helping us, and keep up the good work! I appreciate your lessons. This is the best Pilates I’ve ever seen. I had major reconstructive surgery on my hip and pelvic due to a lady running a red light. I have not been able to get through a SINGLE beginners course and I just completed yours because you helped me feel confident in this routine. Thank you so so much! ❤

Thank you so much for this video! As a survivor of SA, I have struggled with looking after myself, including exercising. I decided to do this to get back into healthy habits and felt so safe, and comfortable - when you began saying 'you have control and autonomy over your body', I started bawling because I've felt like I have no control or say over my body for the past 2 years. So thank you ♡♡

I have scoliosis and have been trying to get back into being active after lockdown i am so locked up. This video has helped me start my first time ever to do pilates. Really enjoyed will be sure to follow for more.

I will try this class. Today I went to my first Pilates class, it was horrible, I will never go back, she was loud, pushy and it was very demanding, a full class of people moaning and struggling to do the exercises! I’ve done yoga for years and wanted to try this, watching you isn nothing like what we did today.

I love doing this workout. I has a spinal fusion a couple of years ago and struggled to find exercises that felt comfortable. This really works for me.

Thank you so very much. I recently found your channel and suffer from fibromyalgia and kidney problems. I felt optimistic watching your video and tried to do it myself, and I'm so proud I did all 10 minutes! Not very well, but at least I tried!! And this routine is something I can see myself doing at least a couple times a week. I feel happy about it and optimistic about going forward and incorporating this into my daily or at least weekly routine. Thank you so much!!

Awesome work out! so doable. I have done pilates in the past but found it stressed my back, no one explained things as clearly as you did. Finally I feel I can get into pilates and do it pain free.

I love how you give adaptations and encouragement throughout your videos. Thank you so much. I am going to ask if you can give stretches or strengthing exercises for hands and wrists? My work involves using them to extremes and they ache afterwards. I'd like to minimize that if at all possible. Thank you 😊.

I am wondering how often you recommend doing Pilates in a week? I am at the beginner level & overweight. I have been working with a physical therapist for many months to resolve a pinched nerve in my neck. My upper body/back are in moderately good condition, as that has been our focus. I am now done with PT and wanting to do total body conditioning on my own at home, but am fearful of overdoing it and hurting my neck again. Also, do you recommend rotating amongst your videos, or is it better to stick with the same one until mastered, and then move on to another? Thanks!

I had a bad experience with a bullying instructor a couple of months ago when I went to a Pilates class for the first time in many years, it really knocked my confidence so I am going to be doing it at home for the time being.
