Great fighting games on the 64 also include: "dark rift" and "fighters destiny"

Flying dragon as well. Loved that game

Excellent choice to put Shadow Man on this list, but you forgot about Road Rash and Doom 64.

I played 007 the world's not enough so much against the bots me and my friends had so much fun with that game
@stephenwolff94314 жыл бұрын
I did the same exact thing! Hours of fun. You could also do that in Perfect Dark multiplayer.

I respect the hell out of this list. Goemon, Jet Force Gemini, and Space Station Silicon Valley were all some of my favorites growing up and I was so shocked to see someone acknowledge them so highly. Thank you for this amazing vid recognizing some absolute classics

shadownan literally gave me nightmares before bed. I didn't care though I still played it anyway lol.

Silicon Valley was my favorite N64 game, it had fantastic puzzles and you had to figure out how to use the animals available to you to complete each level. It was both surprisingly difficult and bleak for a game that had Wallace and Gromit style visuals and humor. Oh, and I remember some of the animals had weaponized exploding poo, so that was always fun. The absolute best game my friends never heard of.

You can easily replace beetle adventure racing with WORLD DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP. That is masterpiece of a racing game for N64. IMO.

What about biofreaks, it has some of the best fighters ever created

It's not a good fighting game. An actual underrated N64 fighter is Fighter's Destiny.

I played every single one of these games and got a flashback of some great childhood memories - especially jet force Gemini - that’s a game that needs to be remade! Thanks for a great list Jules - I think my other favorites where the chameleon games and iggy’s reckin balls which was fun to play with my cousins growing up

YESSS I AM SO SO HAPPY that not only did you mention SS:SV but that you gave it first place. This game is up there with Banjo and Zelda as one of my favourite N64 games and it does NOT get enough praise. Absolute gem, and the deadpan humour is so great. Also, fun fact, it was made by the company that eventually became Rockstar Games.
@sneakykamon4 жыл бұрын
Winback: Covert Operations should be on this list. THAT was the closest thing to getting Metal Gear Solid on the N64 and it was a lot of fun to play. This list is trash for not including it.
@andrewbowden56924 жыл бұрын
I've just commented on this, was that the US title? It was Operation Winback when I picked it up in the UK
@sneakykamon4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I believe so. That’s the only title I’ve known it as.
@rwentfordable4 жыл бұрын
Go play it again. The level design is repetitive and AI dumb even for the time. Before it was released everyone thought it be a MGS killer. It came and went because it was crap.

@@rwentfordable nah, it was a pretty good game for it's time.

Richard Wentford Given the limitations cartridges were known to have on N64 compared to PS1 discs, I’d say it was pretty damn good what the devs were able to pull off for Winback

Guantlet Legends was so much fun as a multiplayer co-op playthrough. My brothers and I loved powering up our characters to the max and calling out shots and providing backup. And then when we all had our power shots ready at the same time, we would unleash a wave of destruction.

Shadowman for N64 has been my favorite game for years and I’m so happy that it made it so high on the list!! Obviously I wanted #1 for it but am perfectly fine with 3rd. Any of my friends know that I will go on until the end of time about my love for Shadowman 64. (And even tho all of my friends know about it, most have never played it).

Beetle Adventure racing is one of, the best GAMES, not even just racing but games period, that I have ever played. I used to have so much fun playing two player with my friends and my brother. There were so many little hidden things on every track.. Aliens and what have you. Such a fun quirky little game and an absolute masterpiece. Rocket Robot on Wheels was a color puzzle based game where you platformed across space and had to jump in paint to unlock things in the levels. You could build a beach theme park as a mini game. Was the only N64 game that i could not reach the boss more than 3 times, after many, many attempts! They want you jump across an rising rock platforms on a lake of lava. The save point was before the rocks and when you died you spawned there.
