Severn or shamrock would’ve also killed in golden era ROH (the pure wrestling would’ve been nuts) or even now . Both would be fun to see in Josh Barnett’s bloodsport.

If you go back and watch a RAW from the latter half of '98, Severn works exactly like Lesnar does now. Like...it's spooky.

@@TheBuddha337 the thing is thats never stopped Vince from pushing someone hard if he wants to. Look at Brock, he's good for a quick quip but Paul did all the heavy lifting on the mic for him or how Chris Benoit and Bret Hart were no nonsense tell it like it is kinda guys who kept things short and to the point, I never understood how Vince can conviently work around guys who seem to lack on the mic but then completely forgets how to do it with others. I can think of at least 2 times Cesaro deserved a push: when fans made "Cesaro section" signs and when he had the "we the people" gimmick, obvious proving there's a huge chunk of fans that were invested in him despite his limited mic skills at least when it comes to speaking in English

Being a kid only able to watch Heat on channel four, I have more memories of the Chyna/Eddie V Lita/Essa Rio’s feud than I do anything that happened on RAW or Smackdown.

Were he still with us, I could see Cade following Trevor into NWA and being deft hands in separate singles divisions as well as the tag division. London could have lasted, or at least reappeared for NXT, if he just didn't smile as Vince walked by.

I understand where you are coming from but guys like Dupree and Kennedy I think would do better in the future (of whenever they got cut) not that they wouldnt do well in the past as well but for example Kennedy you said needed more edge, if they took his same exact character no added edge or anything and randy didnt get him fired the dude couldve been Triple H's pet project during the authority storyline or at least a big part of it

Dupree could have worked where he was. He just needed to get victory or two over Cena to legitimize him. Sure, have the babyface eventually conquer the evil foreign bad guy but he should have had a long career in the mid-card title scene

Kennedy was allowed to let himself loose in. TNA and was a mitigated disaster. The man himself ruined his own chances.

With Kanyon I think of today's wrestlers like Kenny Omega, Seth Rollins, Buddy Matthews and the like. He would be a multi-time world champion.

Actually i think Severn was in the right era only problem was he was in WWE perhaps he couldve shined in the Japan promotions like New Japan or All Japan Pro Wrestling or maybe stick with MMA and fought in PRIDE

Fun fact: The flag cape that Dupree has at 8:25 is actually the Acadien Flag which is a flag for the French Canadians in his native New Brunswick. Man that guy could have been an entertaining heel in the 80's. Heck, he could have at least been a successful mid-card champ in WWE during his time.

When WWE Waters you down, it's because they are preparing you for a big push and don't want you hurting yourself. The top guys all have bland or watered down movesets. All of the ones that don't, end up getting hurt pretty quickly. Look at Rollins. His move set was much more diverse than it is now.

Mr. Kennedy had a bad attitude and a drug problem that ultimately brought him down. He could've really been huge in the Attitude Era for sure though - lots of guys in that era had the same thing going for them.

I doubt Shawn O’Heire would be fine in this era. WWE still has the culture of Big Men wrestle the Big Man Style. Keith Lee and Dijakovik are perfect examples.

Sting never went to WWE in his prime, and didn't until years after the buyout, because he was concerned about how they would handle his character. When he eventually did go to WWE, he was proven right by how he was jobbed out to Triple H.

everyone says moxley/ambrose wouldve been good in the attitude era, but THINK about him in ecw or fma during both promotions heyday. i could see moxley going toe to toe with onita, as well as having great matches with pillman, dreamer and raven.
