10 PS2 Classics We STILL NEED on PS5

There are a number of great PS2 games none of us can play on the PS5. For this list, we'll be looking at classic PS2 titles that are either stranded entirely or are unplayable through what means we have. Our list of PS2 games we still need on PS5 includes “Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest” (2004), “God of War” (2005), the “Ratchet & Clank” series (2002-), “Ape Escape 3” (2005), and more! Idk how it would work, but it would be amazing if almost all ps2 games were available through backwards compatibility. Like, a massive library available digitally or make it so discs can be read

Is there a need? The PS4 has 3,454 games and most great ps2 and ps3 games were remastered for the ps4 anyways . The Ps5 will be playing old games for years to come .

Playing my ps4 disc of Mass Effect legendary Edition on my Ps5. 4k at 60 fps with almost no loading waits makes the game feel brand new .

Considering that many PS2 games were ported to the PS3, the PS5 should focus on games that didn't have that privilege. So games like The Getaway, Ape Escape 2 and 3, a few Buzz games, Hardy Gerdy, perhaps even a reimagining or remake of Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness

The first god of war can be played on ps5 if you have the exclusive ps plus bundle same with 2 and ascension however ghost of Sparta and chain of Olympus are the ones that are unavailable

Champions of Norrath was my favorite diablo clone back in the day (and I played a lot of them, but never Diablo oddly enough). I do wanna mention that it technically had a sequel called Champions: Call to Arms. You coule import your characters from the first game to. The only negative I had for it was that the characters didn't comment on the world like they did in the first game. And that was saddening.

The remastered versions of the Metal Gear Solid games, most commonly Metal Gear Solid (1998), Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are already announced on the PS5 earlier this year.

I don't know why the jak and daxter trilogy and kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 remix were imported onto ps4 but the ratchet and clank trilogy weren't imported onto ps4 they could have done the same with burnout revenge, 007 agent under fire, night fire and everything or nothing I mean ps2 a lot of games.
