The funny thing about The Fall Guy Jason Momoa cameo is, that it WASN’T out of nowhere. When Gosling‘s character is at Taylor-Johnson‘s character‘s house, we learn how dumb the latter really is by the sight gag of all surfaces being covered by post it notes with weird questions. One of them being the hilarious „Is it Momoa or Mamoa?“ 😂

@Fidel_L.Bousquet19706 ай бұрын
Exactly. This video is retarded. She does not turn into an actual giant. I't a metaphor, a poetic way to show how Kristen Stewart's character sees her, as a strong, powerful being.

Yeah, in the context of the story it’s clearly not meant to be realistic. When you see the movie it’s hard to miss the symbolism. It’s a great movie!

It's a piss poor attempt at displaying an allegory for "girl power." The stupidity behind the giant symbolism was completely unnecessary and cringey. LLB was just a shitty movie, that's why outside of this video no one is even talking about that crap. And you clowns have the nerve to try and act as if the narrative went over people's heads. Thats not even the case. The movie just SUCKED!

Never even heard of that last voyage movie... that said, I will confess my only real gripe with Abigail is the ending but not because of the Dracula implication, but because earlier in the movie it was established that vampire lore was heavily mythologized like in Vampire the Masquerade or somesuch yet Joey _just walks away_ without even being seriously pressured to keep her silence. Come on, they should've forced her to replace the guy who'd died working for them (even if she wasn't turned right then and there, she should've been recruited), with her son's safety as collateral cause they know he exists.
@generalilbis6 ай бұрын
"The Last Voyage of the Demeter" is a slasher-horror film where literally one chapter (or less) of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" is turned into a feature-length film plot to fill in how Renfield is the only "living" person aboard by the time the ship reaches London. The idea of turning Dracula into a jump scare serial killer isn't the worst plot idea ever, but the execution of the idea in the film seemed lacking...even via the trailer.

So talking about "I saw the TV Glow" The movie is very much a trans allegory, and the underlying point to the ending is a concept that is brought on earlier in the movie of "It's Never Too Late" Owen chose to not believe he was the character he grew to love, even with all the proof around him. A lot of trans people, myself included, can empathize with that overwhelming feeling of being trapped in a situation you know you shouldn't be living (The breakdown) And unfortunately for some trans people, this leads down the route to self harm as an escape from the pressure of coming out as trans. This experience is seen as confusing and weird. And even the implications of the "happy ending" in this universe are overall grim. But Owen will find freedom in that happy ending. His rush to leave a workspace, apologize for his actions, and the immediate cut was probably one of the most open ended story endings i've ever seen. But i do highly reccommend the movie!

Jason Momoa might be at the end of The Fall Guy. But that's not the ending of The Fall Guy. The climatic twist isn't Ellie is Argyle. That happens about 2/3rd in. The King's Man ending isn't the end of the film. The fact that he might be Dracula isn't the ending. It's just something that happens towards the end.
