I was a dog owner for many years, but when I got my first cat, I fell in love with them, mine are inside kitties, I don't have to let them out, they are quiet, smart and loving, I am so glad I switched from dogs to cats.

My current cat came into my life one month after my wee boy cat died. He was our first Tom cat and so I called him my wee boy. I was sinking into depression and this beautiful Mackerel tabby walked into our garden, then into the house and into my life and took away my depression before it could take hold of me. I tell her often that I will always love her so much for what she’s done. My boy was at the vets over night one time and I could tell it was his plaintive meow and not another cat’s, before I saw him as the vet brought him to me. He was such a considerate good boy and I miss him so very much. I absolutely love cats and God for making them.

What a touching and heartfelt story. ❤ It's incredible how the universe has a way of sending us the right companions just when we need them the most. Your wee boy cat sounds like he was a truly special soul, and it's clear how deeply you loved and cherished him. Cats have this innate sense of our emotions, and it's as if they know precisely when to step in and offer their silent support. Your beautiful Mackerel tabby sounds like a guardian angel in feline form, arriving just in time to offer you love and solace. I wholeheartedly agree - cats are indeed a divine gift, and we are so blessed to have them in our lives. Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey with these wonderful feline friends. Sending you, your Mackerel tabby, and the cherished memory of your wee boy all the love and warm wishes. 🐱💖🌟

This is such a heart touching and heartwarming story, thank you for sharing. I’m not trying to be mean, just my honest solid advice. That Mackerel Tabby had an owner before she came into your life. If that such thing happened to me, I would be on the Internet looking for missing cat signs, I would also put up posters and make some posts online stating that this cat is with you in your home and wait and see if there’s any responses before just taking her. I only say this in love and caring, because if my kitty ever got outside and someone else took him in, I’d be heartbroken and really upset. So imo you have got to think about her previous owners and how heartbreaking 💔 of a situation like this. I also state it as well because I’m a huge lover of any animal, cats being one of my #1 favorites. I am also a huge advocate for these poor lost cats. Please, rethink this one through and try to do something the correct way rather than just taking an innocent animal. It’s surely not fair for this innocent fur baby and it’s not fair for her owners. Best of luck!! 🤞

@@Trish37 He didn't tell he took the cat from off someone's doorstep. The cat had no place to go and was needing a home. He helped the cat and the cat helped him. He didn't just take it. He rescued a street cat just like I was rescued my too kittens when the was hide under my car. What he did was good in all ways. Hope you can see this and like this.

@@Jasmine1991forever You can’t honestly say that the cat was a street cat at all. You’re assuming, and by you assuming it makes an ass out of u and mi (me). A lot of Kitty’s wander around away from their original homes all of the time even though they do actually have loving owners and a loving home to go back to.

I've watched a cat save a baby from a dog. My brother also has a cat that when his kids were small would let them chuck him around, carry him wierd. He was so relaxed and knew that he was dealing with small children and he was catering to them.

I almost busted out laughing this one day, when my cat (and I can't remember with one male or female) appeared from out of nowhere and looked straight into my face to see if I was okay. I have to use an inhaled powder medication every morning. After I inhale the med, I almost always bend forward and rest my forehead on my arm on the counter so I don't get dizzy while I am holding the medication in my lungs for 15-20 seconds to get the most out of the medication and make my breathing better through the day. It was at this point of my bending over that the cat appeared from nowhere and just looked at me with big eyes. I could almost hear the cat saying, "Are you okay?" I said to the cat, I am okay baby, but thank you for checking up on me to make sure I was okay. I love my cats and they definitely love me back!

This video is amazing, thank you! I can remember when my wife was in her last stage of life at the hospice, our cat wouldn't come out from under the bed to eat, drink, or even use the litter box. Whenever she passed he would snuggle next to me 24hrs a day.

What a touching story. 🌼 It's incredible how deeply connected our feline companions are to our emotions and life events. Your cat must have sensed the profound change and felt the weight of the loss as well. They have such a unique and intuitive way of grieving and comforting. I'm truly sorry to hear about your wife's passing, and I hope that the love and closeness you shared with her remain a source of strength and warmth for you. It sounds like your kitty became an invaluable pillar of support during that challenging time, providing you with constant companionship and love. Cats indeed have an uncanny ability to sense our needs and be there for us when we need them most. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt experience with us. Wishing you peace, healing, and all the comforting purrs and snuggles from your furry friend. 🐱💕🌟

Great video. I just found your channel and I decided to subscribe. I’ve often wondered if Rachel knows that I’m blind. I’ve had my cat Rachel for about two years now. I know cats meow a lot to communicate with us, but Rachel does it fairly often. Like if her water fountain comes unplugged i or when she runs out of food.

Thank you so much for subscribing and sharing about Rachel! 🐾 Cats are incredibly intuitive creatures, and it's very possible that Rachel senses your blindness and has found her own ways to communicate with you more effectively. The fact that she meows to alert you about her water fountain or food shows that she's aware of how best to get your attention and care. It's truly heartwarming to hear about the special bond you two share. I'm glad to have you as part of our community! ❤🐱

I just lost 1 of my cats the other day, watching these videos made me realise how much he loved me, I’m struggling 2 cope with this, the vet says a car more than likely ran him over, he was dragging his back legs when I got him home, he had tried 2 get home 2 us rather than find a space 2 die, I’m lucky I had neighbours looking out for us, I’m still in shock & I still can’t get over his determination 2 get back 2 me, he thought he was going 2 get help from the vet cos Iv took him 2 the vet b4 & they helped him, I told him they would help him this time, but they couldn’t, the damage was so bad 2 his spine, when the vet was talking 2 me it’s as if he knew what they where saying, he looked me right in the eyes, I’m sorry if this is 2 long, but it wasn’t all long enuf for me, 1 minute my boy was out playing & I thought he was safe, then I was in someone’s garden taking him 2 the vet & he ws put 2 sleep, any ideas 2 recover??

I'm deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. It's incredibly painful to lose a beloved pet, especially under such tragic circumstances. The love and determination he showed by trying to get back to you in his final moments truly speak to the strong bond you shared. It's natural to feel shock and profound sadness. To cope, consider allowing yourself to grieve freely and reach out to friends, family, or support groups who can understand and share your pain. Creating a memorial or a tribute can also help honor his memory and the beautiful moments you spent together. Your cat was fortunate to have such a caring and loving owner, and he clearly cherished that bond just as much as you did.

I just was watching a movie about famed American journalist Christine Chubbuck. I understand her 100% and her personality type and behaviours and everything. So why did she do what she done? Because she was just feeling every way to success was blocked. But what might have been help her? Yes, if she had a cat or kittens. With her personality feline friends would for sure have been help for her. I just watch that movie crying because I understand her so much. Feline friends are very good therapy and this video shows that because cats do know so much about us like when we are happy or sad. Really great video.

I grew up as a dog person, very wary of cats and not really understanding them for a long time. And then I got a cat, or a cat adopted me when he was a kitten, and he seemed to tick all the boxes of good behavior that would be my only exceptions to own a cat. And then... he grew up... and despite all my best efforts, he proved that he was both incredibly intelligent, learning complex tricks with food as incentive, and only a spoken prompt during a demonstration to him, or while he was doing something correctly. He understands at least a hundred words and phrases, and I can have conversations with him in ways he can usually figure out. But, overall... he is an asshole. He makes me never want a cat again, because he's been the exact opposite of emotional support, and I am covered in scars. All of my friends with cats have heard years of stories from me about what all I've tried to do or teach him, and while all of them have wonderful charming animals, my cat depresses even them, and they all feel badly that he often behaves so rudely and destructive for all the love and respect he gets. After he turned about 10 years old was about the time I required emergency surgery to save my life, and I was away from home for a week. It was the first time he'd been alone so often or had not seen me for more than a day. My mom told me that he roamed the house every night in search of me, didn't like having her feed him and was hesitant to eat, and that he took up sleeping in my bed, which he'd never done before. When I got home and had to rest, he did not behave like himself at all; he climbed up on me and snuggled, purring endlessly and being too concerned to leave my side for long. He accepted more pets and hugs than he ever would, and checked up on me often, as I had become very frail and badly fatigued over the last year due to my declining health and state of my medical situation. And for the week after I was home, or roughly 2 weeks, he was not an asshole, but was polite, well behaved, and mild. And afterwards, while he did return to several bad habits, he was no longer as severely terrible and destructive, and even became more communicative with me. And after 12 years with him, he now appreciates chin scratches, head rubs, rump pats, etc, when before he sort of hated any of my attempts at physical affection. (He made my anxiety and depression many times worse over that first decade...) but... I still DEFINITELY miss dogs. And birds. And fish.
