Every single entrepreneur should watch this video.
Thanks for the mention, Pat. I was frustrated because all I could find on the Internet was just self-help motivational bs and sweet/comforting lies. There are so few men of action, while I was, actually, looking for real advice, numbers, techniques and strategies from men with experience in all that. And I found you. p.s.: by the way, your book, "Doing the impossible", just arrived in the mailbox today. Can't wait to dive into it :)

100% agree! Every time I look through the book selections in the Business section of most bookstores, 98% of it self-help feel good crap. I want MATH! Give me business math! Give me systems! I want strategy to be able to actually get the data and figure out my break even analysis as accurately as I can without just "guessing" on a profit goal. How am I going to actually calculate my marginal cost vs marginal revenue using real world techniques?

Hi Patrick! I started my business 2 years ago and now I have a team of 17 people. I understand creating of system and tracking and measuring everything. But when I saw this video, you stressed so much on tracking everything and creating systems that I drew the entire map of my business again and drilled down as to what else I can track so that we can scale the business and improve the way we provide service to our clients. In this process of thinking, I created a Project Tracking Excel that is going to really be very very helpful to manage my business better and help me automate more things in business. So, I really want to thank you for giving such amazing content. Thank you very much!

Your videos have become my morning routine, and sometimes you're like a trainer in my ear, calling me out if I'm becoming lazy, or whining about something and feeling sorry for myself. You're strong guy and that's what inspires me! No excuses!!! Thank you for that. Straight talk.

One of your best videos yet man. I was guilty of a lot of these on my first business. On my second business, it ultimately failed with me still letting a few of these bad habits linger. On my third venture now and coming at it from an entirely different angle. Not repeating my mistakes and moving to set myself up for success. Watching your videos refreshes my goals and I love where my mindset is at. Thanks Pat, love seeing a local DFW succeed while being humble.

Pat this was a really good video. You can prefer one thing over another because they're all important. Success leaves behind clues. One thing that I've been vehemently against is when the so-called gurus talk about their success students. They put 1-2 guys in front of you and show you how well they did by working with them but they miss some very important things. 1. They don't show you or tell you about the other 98% of people that came through their program or worked with them that did nothing. 2. The show the external but not the internal. They can't show the mindset and the work ethic of the individual. They can't show the behind the scenes which are the 10 things you mentioned in the video. The external that everyone is so awed by is the illusion. The internal...the things you can't and don't see is the REAL TRUTH. Good job Pat...you crushed it on this one. Thanks

Patrick, I ve been a bad follower of your channel since 2 years ago. When i say bad, meaning just listening and absorbing your content as much as I can. But not commenting or sharing it. Being entrepreneur is a tuff and lonely road. But your videos are legitimate very very helpful and i valued them as the most hands on truthfulness lessons someone can pass on to others this is by far and dare to compare this legacy of yours as the one Andrew Carnegie left us. But you are our present day great example of true Teacher of Entrepreneurship. Just want to thank you and your team for this awesome valuable lessons you give us. Hello PBD. It would be great if you could make a short video (or long, based on your preference about the topic & about how you prefer to approach it) about "How To Establish a System as an Entrepreneur". I believe many people (including myself) would appreciate you defining what a system is (in the context of business), how to establish & stick to one, and how it differs from the Company Culture & Business Plan. (subjects you have already covered). Thank you for the great content!

I don’t know everything Pat that’s why I like to watch your channel and hear your feedback. But people don’t know that it takes a lot of documenting on things you implement in business even with people that you work with. Like a plan of action. You document so you can track what works and what doesn’t. Then you can start to cross out what you tried and didn’t work. Or you can reimplement what does work. That also can help to create a system. Like you said lots of data and you can also know when something is normal or Un normal to your business. Also you have to constantly be creative and try knew things to grab attention. That is constant. But anything you do has to make sense and add up with your numbers and why your focus is on a certain product or topic. All comes back to making sense and adding up to your numbers. Great video and thank you. Made lots of notes.
