My son was 10, after watching men in tights 1000 times, he saw Cary Elways at our yearly Comicon , innocently skipped the entire line and yelled out, "It's Robin Hood!!!" Cary gave him an autograph right there. When my son left the Comicon, he said, "I wanna go say bye to my friend" to which my wife instructed to him to say to Cary, "Back to you, Loly" (Cary's exaggerated line from from movie, The Chase) Cary really enjoyed that, "You've got a great kid "

I saw this in a theater with a friend as a kid and we laughed SO hard my face hurt for hours afterwards. By the time I hit high school it was so popular that we did a live "Men In Tights" style skit in my chorus class. I was in charge of costuming and I could NOT have been happier handing out tights to the guys in my chorus class.

The only element more powerful than humor is love. Everyone should make it a priority in their life to find humor in everything, especially in themselves. And yes, definitely during the present time. I am now off to rewatch this, (Men in Tights), and Spaceballs. Oh, and then Princess Bride.
