I'm a Christian currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology, and my scientific studies have brought me closer to the Lord our God, not farther away. I delight in exploring the mysteries of His creation, and the more I discover, the more my breath is taken away. His creativity and intellect are unmatched. Praise be to the Lord!

Allah says in Quran 1400 years ago - “Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30) What Great scientists say about Quran--- Professor Keith Moore, one of the world’s prominent scientists of anatomy and embryology. University of Toronto, Canada It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Qur’aan about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, or 'Allah', because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of Allah. Professor William W. Hay is one of the best known marine scientists in the United States. satellite photography and emote-sensing techniques. Professor Hay replied: I find it very interesting that this sort of information is in the ancient scripture of the Holy Qur’aan, and I have no way of knowing where they would come from, but I think it is extremely interesting that they are there and that this work is going on to discover it, the meaning of some of the passages. Professor Hay: Well, I would think it must be the divine being! Professor Yushudi Kusan: Director of the Tokyo Observatory, I can say, I am very mush impressed by finding true astronomical facts in the Qur’aan. Professor Alfred Kroner who is one of the world’s most famous geologists "Thinking about many of these questions and thinking where Muhammad came from, he was after all a bedouin. I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years with very complicated and advanced technological methods that this is the case. Dr. T.V.N. Persaud is a Professor of Anatomy and Head of the Department of Anatomy, and a professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is the author or editor of 25 books, and has published over 181 scientific papers. In 1991, he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada. "It seems to me that Muhammad was a very ordinary man. He could not read or write. In fact, he was illiterate. We are talking about 1400 years ago. You have someone who was illiterate making profound pronouncement and statements and are amazingly accurate about scientific nature. I personally cannot see how this could be mere chance. There are too many accuracy’s and, like Dr. Moore, I have no difficulty in my mind in concerning that this is a divine inspiration or revelation which led him to these statements." Joe Leigh Simpson, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the North Western University in Chicago in the United States of America. Professor Simpson said: It follows, I think, that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion, but in fact religion can guide science by adding revelation to some traditional scientific approaches. That there exists statements in the Qur’aan shown by science to be valid, which supports knowledge in the Qur’aan having been derived from Allah. Professor Palmer a scientist from the U.S. We need research into the history of early Middle Eastern oral traditions to know whether in fact such historical events have been reported. If there is no such record, it strengthens the belief that Allah transmitted through Muhammad bits of his knowledge that we have only discovered for ourselves in recent times. We look forward to a continuing dialogue on the topic of science in the Qur’aan in the context of geology. Thank you very much. Professor Tagata Tagasone, formerly Head of the Department of Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Shiang Mai in Thailand. He is now the Dean of the College of the Medicine at the University. From my studies and from what I have learned throughout this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Qur’aan 1400 years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the One Who is an eligible Creator. This Creator must be Allah, or Allah. Therefore, I think this is the time to say ‘Laa ilaaha illallah’, that there is no Allah to worship except Allah, ‘Muhammad Rasool Allah’, Muhammad is messenger of Allah... Professor Armstrong, Scientist works at NASA, I am impressed that how remarkably some of the ancient writings seem to correspond to modern and recent Astronomy. There may well have to be something beyond what we understand as ordinary human experience to account for the writings that we have seen. Professor Dorja Rao, It is difficult to imagine that this type of knowledge was existing at that time, around 1400 years back. May be some of the things they have simple idea about, but do describe those things in great detail is very difficult. So, this is definitely not a simple human knowledge. There is no God but Allah and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is last messenger of Allah and Quran is the Final revelation from Allah

@GDDM sam you must not watch many debates.. William Craig.. James White and many many others.. David Wood.. Kent Hovind wiped the floor with everyone he debated... He proved the error of evolution..yes proved the error of evolution.. It's a for of religion because you have to have faith to believe it and its not science but scientism.. Evolution is the idiots lazy man religion.. These bafoons blindly believe in evolution with not a shread of proof.. Not a shread but they'll blab off dates of millions and millions of years for this and that but will be lucky to live close to a simple 80 years of life which they have very little control over but can tell you how everything came to be! They will blindly accept any theory as long as God has nothing to do with it.

Quotes from Max Planck, one of founders of Quantum Theory... "As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." -- As he accepted the Nobel Prize (1919)

@@rs1960 Well, you know, Physics isn´t actually the Truth of the matter, except for what it really is in conjunction with its fellow University-based disciplines and our societies. In particular, it is a form of Philosophy. On the one hand, we are talking about a Christian-derived form, and forms, of University-based Philosophies. On the other, the Universities are themselves Christian-based and basically free of most doctrinal constraints. So, just like Plank´s God in terms of Metaphysical Physics seems a little more modern than the average "Christian God," shift the frame of reference to Comparative Religion and its Philosophy, and my argument for Unitarian Universalism as the step to the truly pluralistic and eclectic Christian God is somewhere other than any kind of exclusionary dogma for a Christian God and the Savior Jesus Christ. All of a sudden, it´s about things like transcending prevailing Christian hypocrisy and the need for inclusionary spiritual modernization and neighborly love by practicing Buddhist meditation or Yoga, or Tai Chi, or Shamanism, etc to learn the meaning of the Lord´s Prayer. So, thank you God, in the name of Jesus, and Buddha, and so on as regards spiritual partnership. Sure, Jesus is the Savior as proved in Western Civilization. Now, let me practice my Buddhism before unsustainable lifestyles and corporate profiteering in consumerism drive people off the cliff all together (for example. Gandhi is probably even more comprehensive....)

I am a Muslim, and I studied at Warwick university. one of my professors was a christian who taught me logic and proof methodology. Thanks to him my verbal lip service to God and Ritualistic sheep follows transitioned to real belief in the All Mighty, the one sustainer of us all. I praise God that he has made us into different tribes so that we have so many wonderful different points of views and understandings of the various dimensions of logic. As a wise man once said, "Attempting to find God through logic, is like attempting to find the sun through a flashlight", in a Less abstract manner, instead of logical inducting/positivistic prepositions and tunnel visioning, take a step back and just question ur existence, ur consciousness, what u are and what is this soul that u feel, this utter and sheer scariness of everything. It is all senseless, why am I here? what is this? I pray that you all find the straight path, feed the orphan and help the helpless. May God guise us all.

People don’t say they don’t believe in god because of fear of others reaction, it’s because it has never been proven scientifically! Word of mouth is not enough evidence to prove a theory, which is basically how religion has been passed around for hundreds of years. The bibles could possibly be stories created by imaginative authors, how was it ever proven otherwise? I just think religion is a human construct, it’s a culture. I’m open to hearing how religion is explained, but I also like testing these explanations

To me science backs creation. The complexity of biology is proof of divinity. After completing microbiology I came to a conclusion that there is no way all of this happened by chance. No way at all. The creator left an imprint on all things that be that connects us to everything in our world. It’s fascinating. There is an “architect” behind it all.

Taryn Great Fellow microbiologist here. I think that if we look at the universe as a whole, it is extraordinarily unlikely for it to support life by random chance. There seems to be an extreme fine-tuning of the universe that makes all this possible. If the universal gravitational constant were just one billionth different, life would be impossible as we speak, along with the many many other events that culminated to make life possible.

I became interested in Christ in college when I realized it was unacceptable there to believe. I decided to read the bible as a historical text. Viewing Christ as a man, which he was, and historical figures lead to my faith in God. Christ actually warns of the downfalls of legalistic religion that scares so many off. But that all comes from hypocrisy and a lack of reading the whole book. Not just picking random verses to use how you like.

Professor Dorja Rao, It is difficult to imagine that this type of knowledge was existing at that time, around 1400 years back. There is so often a low number of views on any videos that are outside of the naturalistic box. I think that gives us some idea of, not only that the algorithms cater to your 'likes' and what you've already viewed, but also of how willing those with a naturalistic view of the universe are to entertain ideas outside of that which they have already embraced. And I will go so far as to suggest that there are very, shall we say, 'rational' reasons for that... (Proverbs 1:22, Romans 1:18-22, John 3:19-20)

7 days? really? This is what turns so many people off to dogma... is the earth still flat too? Just because the earth is actually billions of years old, does not negate the existence of God, it just means that the Bible is flawed (and was written by men, not God). If God had wanted a book written by deity, Jesus would have written it... the fact that none of the books in the Bible claim Jesus to be the author is extremely telling! Does the Bible explain how we got so many different races of humans in just 6,000 years? I don't think so. The people in this video are scientists, who believe what science tells us about material reality... science is doing religion a favor by stripping back the veil of superstition, leaving just the good stuff behind.

Francis Collins is one of the scientists whose work I often bring up when I'm talking to Young Earth creationists who insist that 'evolution is a religion' and conventional (secular🙄) scientists are biased because of their 'evolution beliefs' and that evolution is in direct contradiction of scripture and blah blah.. Collins is an example of an honest creationist who knows that the evidence that all life is related is overwhelming and that obviously evolution is how life works. It's what the evidence demonstrates, and has nothing to do with anyone's beliefs. He even said, 'as a Bible believing christian, I don't wish this to be so, but it is so. It does not serve faith well to deny that'. (That quote is not verbatim, apologies, but it's accurate enough)

What do people mean when they say "nature requires an explanation"?
@bearinggoodgifts5025
@bearinggoodgifts5025 7 жыл бұрын
The first meaning is that the laws of nature (e.g. The laws of physics, such as the second law of thermodynamics) are organised and constant. They are not random which is what you would expect. In fact they are highly organised and so that requires an explanation as it suggests there is an "Organiser" who has given a structure to what would otherwise be a random assortment of atoms, energy etc. The second meaning is much more basic and philosophical: the very existence of nature requires an explanation. Why does something exist at all? Why isn't it just nothingness? Not sure which meaning was intended in the video but I hope that helps.

The argument "there is something rather than nothing" is commonly used in this but what would their response be to scientists who study quantum mechanics and the theory that we actually came from nothing? To Those who study the big bang, what will their response be? Looking at this piece didn't change my mind because they simply used philosophy and beliefs to justify their belief in an existence of a higher power. But not hard evidence. If we were to look at the theories scientists have provided for the non-spirtual or religious their theories would be backed up with explanation of passed evidence and new evidence why not theirs?

According to genetics, human race couldn't have come from DNA of just two human beings so Adam and Even cannot be the ancestor scientifically. But God did create other humans besides Adam and Eve that are not humans, for example their sons Abel and Cain had wives and other humans they spoke of so it must be that Adam and Eve is the first human created but not the only humans created.

There is much evidence to suggest that Jesus walk this Earth. Actually many scholars the majority of Scholars are in agreement that Jesus was real. Keep praying to the Lord, keep your heart and mind open and God will lead you. Once you accept and trust in Jesus; trust into your heart for His sacrifice and are saved there is no way you can lose your salvation. Once you are saved nothing can change. Here are some good verses to encourage you. Romans 8:38-39 38 for I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our lord. John 9:27-30 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. @@AhmadKhan-mg8xz Interesting perspective. I am sure also what was said of Jesus? May I? Start with Jesus. Did He claim to be God?. “We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, *declare Yourself to be God.”* Source: Jesus Christ. Did He blaspheme? Well in the chapter before, Jesus told them "I and the Father are one." And "If you've seen the Son you SAW the Father." Isaiah 9 records the titles of the one born to save the world from sin. He (singular) is called The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. After being called Wonderful (that's awesome in Hebrew.) And Councillor. And they are all about Jesus. So, who is Jesus? The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world *IS* the Mighty God, *IS* the Everlasting Father and *IS* the Prince of Peace. Exactly as He says He is. Did He lie? No. Don't you believe the Koran? He is NOT but a messenger. That is what is written. The Messiah, son of Mary, was *not* but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded. Qur’an 5:75 Because they didn't believe Him, and neither do you (?). Even though it is written of Him He IS NOT BUT A MESSENGER. So if He is not the Messenger, what is He? The message. The Word of God who walked in Eden. So says Isaiah; so says John, the disciple who Jesus loved. So says Jesus of Himself. Who are the deluded? The ones who will not believe it. Taught here. Why is Jesus mentioned 39 times in the Koran? And the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) less? If Jesus IS the Message. Is the Father. Is not but a messenger, on what Grounds do Muslims reject what the Koran teaches concerning Him? Are these witnesses not enough? I don't know. You decide. And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous. Qur’an 6:85 What did Zachariah say concerning Him? ".... they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." The "Me" is spoken of God Himself. Question: When did Israel pierce God? And where did they pierce Him? Surely you know.

@@voiceofreason162 Allah says in Quran that Allah mentioned Prophet Muhammad in previous scriptures Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). (ii) We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt). (iii)We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe. (iv) We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh). (v) We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission. When Jesus Christ peace be upon him says in John 14:6 - I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It is correct it mean he is the messenger of God same thing what Prophet Muhammad said . At the time of Jesus pbuh If you want to go to heaven then you have to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ peace be upon him Jesus Christ also said in John 16:12-14 -“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. Taking about prophet Muhammad peace be upon him . Today if you really love Jesus Christ pbuh you have to follow the teachings of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another Comforter. That he may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of truth.” (John 14:15-17) Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” (John 16:7) The Comforter is repeatedly spoken of in the Bible as the “Spirit of Truth” and it may be observed here in passing that the word Comforter cannot, by stretch of fancy, be twisted to fit in with the Holy Ghost, for nowhere in the Bible is the latter called the Spirit of Truth. Furthermore, Jesus(as) speaks of Him as another Comforter. Jesus(as) himself, of course, was one Comforter. The other Comforter foretold, therefore, must also be mortal like himself. The Quranic picture is the same in this respect when it proclaims the advent of the Holy Prophet(saw) thus: Say, the Spirit of Truth is come and falsehood is vanished. (Al-Quran 17:82) Prophet Muhammad pbuh cleared Jesus of all charges Another function of the Comforter is: “He shall glorify me,” which implies the presence of a human being to bear evidence. What the Holy Ghost can, at best, do is no more than to install into human minds. This, however, is anything but glorifying. Even granting, for the sake of argument, that the Holy Ghost did actually bear witness through human beings, the question arises whether he did purify Jesus(as) of the false charges laid at his door.The Jews heaped curses upon him and alleged that he had died on the cross, which they regarded according to the Scriptures as an accursed death. Did the Christians, inspired by the Holy Ghost, clear him of this? No! On the contrary, they assisted the Jews in their blasphemous propaganda, by admitting his death on the cross. Furthermore, they imputed to him the most abominable offense, namely, that he called himself the son of God in the literal sense. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of God be upon him) alone fulfilled these prophetic words of the Gospel. He it was who emphatically pronounced the divine word: “I shall purify thee (O Jesus) of all the false charges imputed to thee by the disbelievers.” (Al-Quran 3:56) How far the Holy Prophet(saw) succeeded in achieving this can be judged from the fact that every Muslim looks upon Jesus (peace be upon him) as the righteous servant of God, as His Prophet. Belief in Jesus(as) forms a part of Muslim’s faith. Another characteristic of the Promised Comforter, as set forth in the Gospel, has proved another stumbling block to the Christians. “That he (the Comforter) may abide with you for ever” gives them the erroneous impression that the Comforter, in order to be immortal, must need be a “spirit” and not a human being, which betrays their ignorance of the Bible itself. The very words of Jesus(as) in this connection will suffice to remove this erroneous idea: “He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you for ever”, clearly indicate that the Comforter will abide for ever in a certain sense in which Jesus himself shall not.

@@voiceofreason162 coming to your 2nd question Prophet Jesus Christ (PBUH) is mentioned 25 times in the Quran. He is known as Isa in the Quran. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is mentioned 5 times in the Quran, 4 times by the name Muhammad and once by the name of Ahmad. This is an astonishing fact. The holy book that was revealed on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentions his name lesser number of times than that of other prophets. It proves the validity of the Quran and that it was not the handiwork of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). No need to mention his name Quran revealed to him directly if somesomeone talk to you does he keep mentioning your name ? If you read Quran it is mentioned several times the Holy Qur'an itself addresses the Prophet many times using this prefix, for example Ya ayyuhan Nabi (O Prophet)

Here's my issue. When I listen to so many of these scientists who are religious and it's not just Christian scientists it's Islamic scientists and other religions as well, they aren't getting to the god belief based on science. They aren't creating models that are testable like science does. Many of them check their religious beliefs at the door, many of them have stated outright that no matter what they see in science that contradicts their religious beliefs they will always believe the religious beliefs and that's not logical. If you show me that there's a god, and I'm not saying if you quote a Bible verse I don't care what the Bible says until you can show that the Bible is accurate and what is written in that situation is accurate which really there's no way of doing, I don't care what it says. Because anyone could have written anything and it could have been true or it could have been completely bullshit or it could have been accidentally written incorrectly or it could have been intentionally changed or any one of a number of things could have happened. So I don't care about a Bible verse. There was a scientist who was a Harvard graduate and I forget his name I apologize, if you really want to know it I can try and find it because I don't want you to think that I'm just asserting it but he basically said even if all the evidence showed that the Bible is incorrect, he would acknowledge that but he would still believe in young Earth creationism no matter what and that is just ridiculous. This person was I believe a geologist but don't quote me I could be incorrect I'll have to go look and I'll come down and comment below this. Francis Collins was the head of the human genome project and not only believes in evolution but has stated multiple times that the genetic evidence alone is enough to confirm it and that's far from all we have. His belief in God came from a bicycle ride where he saw a waterfall Frozen and it reminded him of the Trinity and he accepted jesus. You want to do that? Fine but that's not science-based and just because you're a scientist and believe in God doesn't mean that the science LED you to the god. I will admit that William Lane craig, is a brilliant debater. I would be willing to bet any amount of money that if he really wanted to, he could actually debate from an atheist position and still win debates. Even though he doesn't believe it because he's such a great debater. But his arguments, the column and stuff like that are a bunch of assertions. He uses the work of science, but ignores the conclusion and comes to his own but can't do anything besides state it. If this happens it must be like this well sorry that's not how it works. You don't know that. And I know that I'm in enemy ground by saying this and that's fine. I respect your guys's right to believe what you want and in no way am I telling you there is no God because I don't have a clue. But I've seen absolutely nothing that has convinced me there is one. That's not something I choose, if you asked me would I prefer there be an afterlife I would tell you yes because I would love to see my grandma and mom again but that is independent on whether one exists. People can say they saw this or did that but that doesn't do anything for me. I didn't have that experience. I believed in God for years I went to different churches I listened to arguments I prayed I asked for signs, and you can say that I was given signs but I ignored them if you want I think that you are incorrect. Because if there's a god, then that God knows what would convince me that he exists. And if I could look directly at a sign from a God and not recognize that it's a sign, that is not something that would convince me. There should be no way that I can miss it. Telling me to look at the trees or threatening me with hell or reading a Bible verse is going to do absolutely nothing for your position. It's not going to convince me and threatening me with hell is going to make me lose respect for you and walk away. Even if that's what you believe, I will not be convinced by that. So are there scientists that are religious? Sure. But their science and their religion do not appear to go hand in hand. One is a belief that they can't show actual evidence for and the other one is science.

Simply put, the Trinity means that there is only one God and that God has three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The “Wei” of the “San Wei Yi Ti” [Trinity in Chinese] does not mean digits but persons, and the “Ti” does not mean the body but the essence. The three persons represent the three forms of existence of God, but there is only one essence. That is to say, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all refer to God in essence. It means one God rather than three Gods, which is called the Trinity in English. However, there is no such word in the Bible, and early Christianity did not have this concept at the beginning. The 27 books of the New Testament were all written by the disciples of Jesus or the disciples of the disciples. The canonical catalog was not determined until 397 A.D. Therefore, the various teachings of the early New Testament were discussed and concluded by priests, theologians, and bishops. The doctrine of the Trinity also experienced nearly 300 years of development, which became a big controversy by 318 A.D. --Light of Wisdom Church《Newton and the Trinity|the Father the Son the Holy Spirit|New Testament|Nicene Creed》

For all men were by nature foolish who were in ignorance of God, and who from the good things seen did not succeed in knowing him who is, and from studying the works did not discern the artisan; But either fire, or wind, or the swift air, *the governors of the world, they considered gods. Now if out of joy in their beauty they thought them gods, let them know how far more excellent is the lord than these; for the original source of beauty fashioned them. Or if they were struck by their might and energy. let them from these things realize how much more powerful is he who made them. For from the greatness and the beauty of created things their original author, by analogy, is seen But yet, for these the blame is less; For they indeed have gone astray perhaps, though they seek God and wish to find him. For they search busily among his works, but are distracted by what they see, because the things seen are fair. But again, not even these are pardonable. For if they so far succeeded in knowledge that they could speculate about the world, how did they not more quickly find its Lord? .................................. Jesus O Savior I know not if you are real Come Come live in me .. Save me ! Amen and Amen Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say. "Come." Let the hearer say, "Come." Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants receive the gift

God is Spirit or Mind or Consciousness and that He gave to human a bit of it but we lost and instead, inherited a Spirit or mind or consciousness from an adversary of God however, now God can remove such a Spirit or mind or conciousness from our brain and instead, replace His Spirit or mind or conciousness into our brain again. This's physically demonstrable as part of the evidence for the existence of God but only in Judea Christianity.

The Christian clergy and monks after the Roman era were literally the only people who were literate in Europe, most people were illiterate back in those days. The Churches were literally the only places in Europe that had books and literature etc etc. The Church then educated the common person, and especially those of royal and elite statuses. It's very strange how today's secular atheists tend to forget this. They actually believe they educated themselves, which is a load of nonsense. The scientists and engineers back in those days were monks or clergyman, then the church influenced and educated the common people who became scientists way up until the 1800s. Atheism is only a recent occurrence compared to the centuries of literate Christian scholars and scientists. Lest they forget who taught them to read and write...

Is religion absolutely ridiculous? Yes. Was it necessary for civilization to make it to the level it is today? Perhaps. It helped humans not be afraid of being erased from existence when they die, by convincing themselves they'll live forever. Without it important people may not have made the discovers they did. So however absurd it is, I'm sure it helped further humanity. Although, now that we're at the height we are it does more harm than good and should be forgotten like most antiquated ideas such as human sacrifice.

The Bible is a Christian's main weapon! However, Genesis 1: 14 says, the stars shall be for signs! Also, Psalms 75: 6 says, exaltation comes from God out of the north! So google, the Northern Cross, by Aquilla Fleetwood, youtube. Then google, Night Signs, by Aquilla Fleetwood, youtube!

I want to say first off I am very open minded but I have made the mistake of being close minded before in the past. I am not Christian I am pagan. But I am a little different from most pagans. My view on higher beings has been simplified to me seeing them as more evolved energies. There is a world that physical science has barely touched on. The realm of the soul, of spirituality. Most humans have an awareness that there is a place beyond our own where higher beings can reside. In Christianity they believe in angels and 1 main God who is part of a trinity called The father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. Paganism is very similar.. but more focused on our connection with our earth home as humans. Pagans typically believe in that as a whole, the universe, plants, animals, people, all organisms are one. That would be considered the father in the Christian trinity. The son and the Holy Spirit are different to pagans because they’re usually viewed as the feminine energies of the earth and universe in a single female figure. And the male energies of the earth and universe in a single male figure. Most other gods in paganism are viewed as high spirits/ beings but not as important as the main 2. So almost like.. angels but more human like and more powerful. MOST modern Pagans know and understand that the stories handed down are more useful as a learning tool vs believing those things actually happened.. in fact we accept those stories were man made. But since man cannot fully explain these higher energies we have given them names and embodiments that we can relate to aka the human form. I am also very into science and completely believe in evolution but also I am spiritual and know there are higher beings than us. The only difference between Christians and pagans is the names and forms we give our divinity and the stories are different.

The Holy Trinity actually communicates with some people. It's random mostly but it does happen. Too bad most are not taken seriously and are accused of having mental illness. Jesus is not fond of Scientists and enthusiasts dismissing him and messing up what He created.

Cannot prove many, many things in science. Atheism is as strong a faith as believing in a Creator.

Because we create the rules to describe the world. We do not require a God to create rules.

@@hmgrraarrpffrzz9763 we didn't create the rules we just found them but somebody had to have created those laws and somebodt needs to enforce them because laws show that there is order in the universe such as for a country to work there must be laws that are created and enforced by someone for there to be order if not nothing would function properly

@@Johnnywalkerbravo Matter and energy act in a certain way. To help us understand that, we use science to describe them: laws, theories, hypotheses. I believe that matter and energy behave that way because of their structure. You believe that matter and energy behave that way because somebody wants them to. As of now, I know of nothing that would support your assumption. _"there is order in the universe"_ What kind of order are you talking about?

Carl Jung asserted that ultimate origins are likely inconceivable, therefore all religious and spiritual ideas are metaphors for something ineffable.
