You guys clearly don't understand the whole thing about The Joker. The whole reason that he's creepy and intimidating as a villain isn't because of his volatile nature or clown image - It's because no-one actually knows who he is. In The Killing Joke, you get a small glimpse into it, but that's literally all it is, with people seeing him as a failed comedian-turned-criminal called, "Jack", but that's no biggie as he's used that before as an alias. One of the most famous quotes of The Killing Joke is, "If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!" This line also implies that the past you see in The Killing Joke might not even be true either. Plus, there's also been implications that he shifts personality every time he wakes up, or that he envisions his own past differently every day, but I think I've been clear enough here.

The joker actually said a couple of stories about how he got his scar. He told Rachel Dawes he did it to himself after his wife got into debt with the wrong people and they cut her face. He cut his face the same to make her feel better and she hated it and left it. I believe the stories aren't true and it is just his way of making himself more menacing. George Mchail was on the side who paid most. Which in Indiana Jones happened to be the Russians. He helped Indiana escape so that he would lead them to the place at the end with those alien beings. In the end though he knew he was going to die and Indiana had been a good friend, so he sacrificed himself to save Indiana as he knew if he didn't they would both die.

I've talked with someone who worked with a production script of Lost in Translation. The real reason we don't hear them is because they couldn't get sound of the scene because of where it was being shot. The line in the script was something very mundane like "I had a great time meeting you, blah blah" or something equally not sexy or profound. I imagine they didn't bother doing any ADR for the scene because it worked better without any dialogue.

The reason Bo Peep was edited out was because she was porcelain. She would not have been donated to Sunnyside (of course) and would have been smashed if she'd joined in on the other parts of the adventure. A good place for her in the movie would have been left at Andy's house, communicating with Mrs Potato Head's lost eye but even then she wouldn't have been given to Bonnie. Toy Story 4 will mainly focus on the hunt for her.

As far as the Joker goes, there's a bit of a correction going on at DC these days. They've recognize that their "dark'n'gritty" fanboy-driven neo-dork age New 52 continuity just isn't _fun_, and they're doing a bit of fourth wall breaking as they apologize in-canon for their mistakes. In the case of the Joker, Batman has received literal word-of-God that there are in fact _three_ Jokers. In other words, there's the Golden Age, Silver Age, and modern Jokers, all of whom are archetypally different characters -- even though in-canon there's only one. The Heath Ledger Joker is special. Ledger was a Method actor, and lived as the Joker. This is important, because the Joker is an extremely powerful archetype. Method acting consisted of essentially allowing yourself to become possessed by whatever character you're channelling, and in Ledger's case the archetype was so powerful that it literally killed him. Ledger was _killed by the Joker_. How awesome and terrifying is _that_? But what that means is all the answers the Joker gives in Dark Knight are true... and false. Just as DC is telling us there are three Jokers embodied in a single character, Ledger's Joker is also many manifestations embodied in a single archetype.

Yeah, Once Upon a Time In America certainly is one of the best of the gangster crime movies but wtf was with that ending? For a film thats pushing 4 hours id like some closure but then again I suppose life doesn't always have closure. Still a kick ass movie though!

In the Departed the baby is most certainly Billy Costigan's. There is a large body of evidence that points to it. The performance issue scene. The timing of the pregnancy. The scene in the hallway where she wants to tell Billy something and he tells her to wait, and the end at Billy's funeral when he says "What about the baby?" and she totally ignores him.
