The range of the Zircon at sea depends on the target range of the radars. If these are only frigate radars, then the range is -400 - 500 km . If the target designator is a flying radar, then the range is 1000 km.

The SM-6 is really just a stop-gap until other anti ship missiles are ready. It's just a matter of pushing new code to the missile. a lot of US destroyers had their Harpoons removed in the '90's so have basically no anti ship weapons on board. This is a quick and relatively cheap way to give them at least something to fire at ships.

The hypersonic cruise missiles currently fielded by Russia and India use Nuclear warheads so they don't have to be that accurate. Same is speculated about China's hypersonic "carrier killer." America originally didn't invest in hypersonic because there was no value in putting money into another nuclear delivery system. With modern missile defense systems it now makes sense to invest in hypersonic as a conventionally armed weapon (non-nuclear) anti ship and land attack missile against moving targets which is much harder to do.

Change the title immediately. Make it half part of the world. U have omitted another 10 missiles under development in the other half part of the world....which is Asia. Asia is far ahead than the west in development of hypersonic missiles. And USA is terribly lagging behind. Also tomahawk series is the most outdated and old among all. And if subsonic missiles would have to be included too then the list would increase to 30 to 40 more. Thus a confusing and irrational list prepared here without following any pattern. Also do mention that upcoming bhrahmos-2 will be several class apart than all the missiles mentioned here.
