buying (mainly) wholefoods only makes it all SO much cheaper! I found a cheap gym (25!) and my phone bill is only 5 a month. I don't go out for drinks as often as I used to and when I do go out I have one drink and a ton of water. I don't enjoy more than one drink, it's just too much for me. Not only am I now healthier, but I've saved so much because of it. awesome video! just found your channel and really enjoy it! :)

Love this video!! You have such a real and warm personality! So true, we are buying a home and were able to save the down payment in 3 months! Unfortunately it can be hard to not spend, not eating out is really helpful, making a budget and sticking to it is a big one, meal planning, using free resources like the library for free books and movies. is great, especially if your an avid reader.

Yes!! I LOVE THE LIBRARY! My friends make fun of me for it but the library is the best! It's so helpful to be able to return a book after reading. Love your tips! Thank you so much for watching and congrats on the house!! 💛💛💛

Thanks so much for your tips and super helpful videos! Subscribed! Okay, long comment time... 1. I currently have a membership to a rock climbing gym that also provides daily yoga classes and typical workout equipment. I find the gym very valuable to be at this time because rock climbing isn't something that I can easily or safely do outside of said gym. I'm also not traveling nomad style (yet!) so I'm actually going to hold on to my membership for now. Maybe my exercise preferences will change as time goes by. 2. I would LOVE to not have a cell phone service but because I'm a freelancer it's extremely necessary that I'm "on-call." I'll look into it nonetheless. ;) Everything else you mentioned I'm already doing. :) I've been vegan for about seven years now and have been practicing extreme minimalism lately and I can say with confidence that living this way feels so amazing and is incredibly affordable! It feels great to only purchase what I absolutely need and surround myself with things I use every day. It also makes packing for travel very simple. :D Thanks again for your advice!!!

Can you still call over wifi? Wondering more on this. Great tips! New subscriber.

Yep, I use FaceTime audio or an app called WePhone, which charges only 1 cent per minute. It's awesome! I've been using wifi only for a year now and I've had no problems ☺️

what do you use to make phone calls? Could you explain some of that because it sounds very interesting :)

I use an app called we phone! It's for iPhones and you pay 1 cent per minute. It's awesome and it makes all calls over wifi. I totally recommend it!

Love your videos! I would say that you should check out Consumer Cellular and Ting for non-contractual pseudo pay-as-you-go service. I did the wifi cell phone for a while, but I always had a nagging feeling I might need it for emergencies. Thankfully when I did need it, there was a Starbucks nearby. Just want you to be safe!

I'm super curious how you switched your cell phone plan?? Did you have to buy an unlocked phone, or did you use your phone service carriers version of Pay as You Go? Or is their a plan you recommend? I really want to try this!!!

here are the technical details: I was with Verizon in the US. Apparently their iphones come unlocked. So I cancelled my contract, and just connected to wifi at home/work/coffee shops/wherever. It is simple and super easy and it's amazing to be able to use your phone for free. I really recommend trying it out!

Unlocked phone and a prepaid plan would work, T-Mobile offers one that's $3 per month (without data)

Check out "lessons with Madame" chic books, it also makes minimalism very chic.

I did a lot of research into the wardrobes of the French - they are very minimalist and I love how they do it. I will definitely check that out, thanks for the recommendation!! 💛💛💛
