I kind of remember that JTG and Shad were involved in a feud with then Tag Champs Cade and Murdock and were set to win the titles at the next PPV. But before they got to the PPV, there was a legit confrontation or fight between the teams backstage and JTG and Shad were suspended, and it seemed that part of their punishment was that they didn't get the tag belts at that time. Cryme Tyme then never got back to the level where they were legit title contenders again.

Edge/Christian, The Hardys, and The Dudley Boyz were the best thing about WWE at one point in time. I saw those 3 teams wrestle live in a 3 way TLC match on a PPV on Cleveland about 24 years ago. Can't remember which PPV it was. I remember it being pretty good, but that match was BY FAR the best wrestling match I've ever seen. And I've been to A LOT of live WWE events, including 2 PPV's and 1 ECW event. After that TLC match the whole arena gave those 3 teams a standing ovation. There was only one other era that had great tag team wrestling in my opinion. That being the early-mid 90's when teams like The Rockers, LOD, The Natural Disasters, Money Inc., Hart Foundation, and Demolition were around. There were a few other periods where there were some good teams around but for the most part the WWE has never been all-in with the tag team division
