This challenge looks extremely powerful. I have an immense fear of ghosts or anything unknown. I am too sensitive to every energy or sound that potentially surrounds me. I know this is an old comment, but I actually think something like that might help you with that fear. Because one physiologically cant be scared for more than about 1 hour and you could experience not being scared but being calm and relaxed and that there is nothing to be scared of

This video actually changed my life. It made me realise how I am addicted to wasting my time on social media/KZbin and avoid being really present in the moment all too often. I think I am not alone in this new silent struggle many of us growing up as the guniea pig generation of online constant entertainment, I am now at 23 only realising that I could achieve so much more with a bit of mindfulness and less time-wasting behaviours. For the first time in a long while I switched everything off for the day, apart from doing work on my laptop, and as much as it was tough and I wanted to watch a video, I didn't and I feel much better for it. This is the beginning of a journey and I may make slip-ups along the way, but I think in order to fulfil my greatest potential with this one life on Earth I have been given, I need to start prioritising what is really important and fight for the future I want even if my addictive brain wants to stop me, and to me this all starts with taking a moment each day to think without distraction. I hope anyone else who feels they struggle with this can find their willpower and join me on a journey of self-improvement as success will come in the long run for us all.

@@dmonleon24 I am! I think since recognising it as a problem it has been easier to be aware of it, but of course I have had slip ups and had lazy days especially after the loss of a loved one. Still though I am trying to make better progress across my life through mindfulness and some willpower. To get back into fitness I did a 5km run after zero training and I was slow af but completed it which motivated me to go to the gym and get a good routine going. I'll always watch TV, but I aim for it to only be after completing the work that needs to be done, not before.

Also depends on the age they went blind, if they were young or born that way I’m sure your mind would be able to adapt and not be as traumatic.

Darkness retreats are so healing! For a deeper sense of self realization it is also beautiful to live the experience in complete silence. I have done a few 10 day silent retreats that have allowed myself to heal in so many ways possible. I highly recommend this experience if you are on a spiritual journey. It's a very deep understanding towards self discovery, simplicity of being, love and compassion for yourself and others and so much more! But thank you guys for showing a broader spectrum of self healing ! The time we spend with ourselves has been taken for granted in this societ when it should be our priority as spiritual beings

The interesting thing about this, for me, is that without having done anything nearly so extreme, I battle with the same constant conflict between self-acceptance and self-loathing. Seems to be the human condition. We might as well just eat popcorn and accept it.
