@@user-rn1lb8sx2c yea but he’s always a little scared, he does face through it but like amar is different, he’s so willing, he’s more out there. I think it’s just different personalities. Thomas is amazing at putting himself out of his comfort zone, which is the point of yes theory. It was kinda rude to be like “tHiS cOmMent iS sTuPid” like no this comment actually makes sense.

I think the main takeaway here is that it's good that we still have one very reluctant original founder of yestheory still do a challenge he's worried for. Because there are so many of us who are constantly fearing a lot of things but he shows us that we can still practice the yestheory despite it

I just wanted to say that if you are a person who is genuinely thinking of doing this, be careful. If you have significant trauma in the past or have a family history of me talk illness these types of intense camps can push people into psychotic states. I've just had someone close to me have a psychotic break from something similar to this. Please go ahead and do this if you like but make sure you arrange someone to check on you, go into it with awareness that you CAN leave. Practice meditation and be in a good place emotionally, mentally and stress wise before you go in.

It's definitely not for everyone. Of all the people I have talked to about D.R.s, I have only found one person who might want to do it. I have encountered several thresholds and sought to push past them just to see what's next. I plan on going dark in a couple months. That will be D.R. number 5. I also do it while fasting. My desire is to talk with someone who has gone dark to see how their experience is the same or different from mine.

You think it's beyond you because you fear the unknown. It's not darkness forever, your mind ends up filling up that space. After a day, that trapped feeling leaves and you feel more free than when you entered, when you finish.

I went to a spiritul development class years ago and they asked this question "If you were in a dark room by yourself how would you feel?" Well they told us after that how you feel about being alone in a dark room is an indicator on how you feel about "crossing over" to the other side. My answer was peaceful and content :) There is wisdom in being in solitude in the dark by yourself. Love Thomas reaction :)

Also realizing that Ammar, you manage to let go of the human habit of "waiting for the next moment to come" after 5 days, but in one day, Thomas, you still couldn't and kept waiting for someone to come, or waiting for the next thing/the end of the experience. So in 24h it seems harder to go into a "total surrender to the present moment" like Eckhart Tolle would call it. I wonder how I would feel like. I've had periods of my life where I was meditating several hours straight everyday and after a while, weird things started happening to me as a results^^ So I kind of know what it's like to fully surrender, but In the dark with still the moment where someone comes to give you food that is kind of giving you an idea of the passing time...i don't know how I would react after 5 full days. Thank you so much for those videos. It makes me want to meditated more once again =) Love you guys!

These videos have been so interesting and insightful. Something that struck me was that Ammar knew he was spending 4 nights in the dark, therefore he settled, battled ,and came to the Absolute conclusion that Light and Shadow are part of the same experience... Yet Thomas, knowing he was only in there for 24 hours spent most of his time in 'waiting to get out' ! How apt are both of these experiences for us in life? Sometimes in the moment, sometimes waiting to get out.. The Human brain is incredible.. our thoughts create our reality, we seem to be always expecting the next thing, yet All there is , in Now.. A wise person told me Now Here , is nowhere Great experiences you guys, I am in a darkness of sorts right now, and came to the same conclusions.. The shadow only exists because there is something in the path of the light.. in our case, it is ourselves. Both exist. For the scientists out there that should make sense too.. Duality and perception. Wow, really loved this, thank you 🌈 Love you all ❤

lol I would do this but I spent 3 months in solitary confinement in jail when I was 18. For first, being in jail for a juvenile cannabis charge from when I was 17 and then getting caught smoking weed while in the jail with other inmates. They put me in a 4x4 room for 90 days. No books, window, or nothing. Just food 3 times a day. In a concrete block. I spent 7 months total in county jail for being out past curfew with a cannabis grinder in Mississippi months before turning 18.

I think personally that peoples should all try to be in silence and darkness at least once a month for only 24 hours, it would change a lot in a persons, even by just doing it at home, possibly in the bedroom. alone without distractions, totally dark and silence and BOOM you are in an other space of your mind... 😁😁

ok try doing things that are better for you while also seeking discomfort, not sleeping for three days is too much.
