I have a Mike situation myself. I’m 36yrs old. I’m 5ft 5 295 I also have obstructive sleep apnea. I too sleep wit a bi pap machine. I know exactly how he feels. It’s been a struggle trying to lose weight an keep goin to the gym. Energy levels suck an crash periodically thru the day. I’ve followed u Mike Rashid ever since you first started your channel wit CT. My sleep apnea is even worser than his. I literally stop breathing minutes at a time. In a 6 hr sleep period I only get 15 minutes worth of REM sleep. I have also developed an progressive eye disease called keratoconus where my cornea has became thin due to the full mask pressing against my eyes for years an have lost vision in my left eye. I am goin to follow Mike on his journey an take notes myself. I too thank you for following your heart an doin what GOD purposed you to do in our brothers life. An i look forward to making some changes myself.

I'm down 21 lbs since this post I'm doing intermittent fasting working out and keto. Also doing one day or two of one meal a day and one day of 24 hour fasting. Also I workout on a empty stomach so that all my calories burned coming strictly from my body and not from the meal I eat earlier that day. It might be extreme but it was extreme how I gained all this damn weight too, eating non stop and not managing myself. But I'm on some nutrition shakes that dont make me feel pretty full most the day. I dont know if the shakes post to do that but they help.

If it was easy then we all would be doing it. I think the real challenge to losing weight and getting in shape is staying disciplined mentally and being consistent in your routine. Even if you do have a cheat day and binge on fast food or junk food just promise yourself to do better the next day and follow through. I need to follow my own advice but I'll follow mike's journey while trying to get myself fit.

SoJeanGarbo hew two questions... my name is Ed.. I’m 29 and 293lbs.. Since being an adult my weight has yo-yo’d. At 20 I was about 321, at 24 I got down to 265, 26 I averaged about 280, and earlier this year I was at about 310.. I’m back coming down due to meal prepping, and intermittent fasting. My eating window is 12-8.. do you think adding Omad will help me lose weight. My target goal is 220 so I have about 73lbs to go
@JaySavageTV

Edward Castine Yep, OMAD will help. Maybe do a shake in the morning and a meal at night. Try that for a few moths along with an exercise regimine and you'll reach your goal in no time.

It’s amazing that you help your friend lose weight! About 5 years ago I wasn’t that fit at all and I weren’t into sports that much. I was active but I didn’t enjoy sports and athletics nearly as much as I do now. I don’t know what changed in me but now I’m in great shape and I play football very competitively, I also run a lott and have even earned medals from running competitions and I love calisthenics. Sports have changed my life and I’m very grateful for having sports in my life.

I just turned 54 and a Breast cancer survivor. My highest weight was 250 pound and I’m 4’7. I lost over 100 pounds down (129) I kept it off for 15years. However in 2014 the weight start coming back no matter how hard I run and workout. I was an avid runner. In 2017 I felt a tumor in my breast and was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. I went through the surgery, chemo and radiation. Now I’m a survivor. Now I’m trying to get back to my old self and it’s really hard this time around. Watching your videos and listening to your ideas remind me of how I lost over a 100 pounds and kept it off years ago!!! Thank you Mike! You never know how much it means to me!!! Thanks my brother!! Keep encouraging and posting!

This hit so close to home for me. I'm currently sitting at 285 pounds @ 5'10. I have always struggled with my weight and have never been able to keep it off. Mikes Journey is also going to be mine. I will be following this close and will be incorporating the workout and trying to match the intensity. I recently saw my doctor and she told me I qualify for lap band or weight loss surgery. I knew I was over weight but I didnt think it was that bad. Since then I have been more motivated then ever to lose weight and keep it off. These "100 pound to lose" videos have honestly given me a greater motivation and hunger to succeed in my weight-loss journey. Thank you!

Bodybuilders that speak against these things especially fasting don't know what they're talking about. 6 to 7 meals a day crap is a back in the day 90's thing. I did it for 11 years. No more. Wow Rashid. Last week My first introduction to this brother that you and Sean are helping you had been giving progress updates. I had already been adding Cacao into my coffee to help replace my potassium and magnesium since i take blood pressure pills. After you spoke about Ritual and the care you took with selecting your coffee farmer. I decided to start adding a plant based chocolate protein powder into the coffee AND since last week i now wait TWO hours after i awaken before i consume ANYthing but my super coffee and water. I never thought about the benefits of allowing all of the hormones to naturally leave and lower from the nights repairing. Since last week im pretty much only eating twice now. Now the wow part for me tonight watching the introduction to this brother is learning how we are very similar. I mentioned blood pressure medications but i too have sleep apnea and sleep with a cpap every night. Ive got a couple of other things going too. Anyway ill be sure to follow this journey even closer. Thank you to both yourself and Sean for giving your skills out as a labor of love brother and sharing them.

Mike I wish you the best! I'm most definitely going to follow along with this because you remind me of me. One of the reason I enjoy this channel is because Mike Rashid isn't the typical in shape brother. He believe in good health and being in shape. There are lots of guys who are in magazine cover shape but they're in the grave by 50 because what they're eating, may be good for building muscle but horrible for their overall health. You in good hand good sir!

I think what you are doing is the 2nd best thing anyone could do for another person. To have a healthy lifestyle is a blessing and anyone who avails that for another man is God-sent. Take full advantage of this Bro. I'll be watching this space from right here in Ghana, West Africa.

I dont want to sound like I'm repeating on every fitness channel but I've used intermittent to lose about 130lbs. 185 now and I can still curl 50lb dumbbells for reps.
