Welcome back all you beautiful people to the first melt of the year. What an absolute huge copper melt this was and a massive addition to the stack. Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep up with these size melts all the time but it's a bloody good start that's for sure. Hope everyone had a happy safe New Year and stay tuned for some Interesting melts some chunky monkeys ,magpies, bigsnacks etc 👋🏻😁

🤔👍👍This is a good attempt to melt copper through what is called this big furnace with three buckets and also instead of putting the pieces of iron on which you pour the famous copper or make like a scale or a long table or in the middle of your height I mean your waist your feet the level is high and not at ground level any long iron table on which you put these buckets or square pieces of iron on which you pour the famous copper like a table you have this wooden table that you work on but make it another table of iron so that you pour the copper or other molten materials and it is fixed and not on stones my regards
@sarisniper79903 күн бұрын
👍Place the table that I told you to make from iron and place it near the tree, that is, near the melting of the metal. It will be close to you in the work and easier.

Very nice haul there mate! You think that the copper might have been alloyed with something to make it behave like it did? You certainly can't go past those old motors for bulk copper! A shredder certainly would make short work of the copper wire! I'm going to try my hardest to get it made as fast as possible. Have a good one mate. Talk soon. No K&K this week, so you get all the funds again!

@janhemmer81812 күн бұрын
Yes, strange indeed. It is like some part of the copper decided halfway to expand while cooling instead of shrinking. I don't know of any metal that behaves like that.

Watching you try to manhandle that motor out of the trailer using your leg as a brace scared me more than I thought it would. Don't try to act tough for us BSD, just be safe!
@thegreatestdane89783 күн бұрын
Honestly...agreed initially, I assumed it was less...actual manhandling and more him pushing it out of the trailer, but jesus that was a bit worrying (noting that one of boards on the pallet has broken where that motor was just makes it more worrying).
