The thing with Dior is actually the other way around. After the war the factories that where producing fabrics for the war effort now where facing diminished demand. So Dior as a good business man saw the opportunity to put wearing more fabric into fashion. Did some people see it as wasteful, probably, but it was a great way to save the textile industry

Face fur is worse. Because it brakes apart and creates micro fibers that get every were. While real fur is natural and will eventually decay as all organic material does.

It’s crazy to think it was weird for women to wear mens clothing in the 1930s but nowadays it’s weird for men to wear women’s clothing. In a couple decades (maybe even less) clothing will most likely become universal and androgynous

exactly, especially with the kardashian/jenner fashion dynasty. pushup jeans, cornrows and foundation several tones darker. also another idea for a controversial trend is anything set off by models launched into the industry by their wealthy families. but both probably not very fitting since the video is about controversy caused by the need for justice. maybe it's a good thing since i can't think of any other 2010's "controversial" trends. maybe miley cyrus' 2013 vma outfit?
