Hey there, and thanks for your question. Many people ask this question, so I will try to provide the rationale behind our video title. To be honest, our private test groups peaked at around 750+ calories (some of the participants burned less!). However, we have ample evidence from many months of experience testing these workouts, that this particular one is *almost* impossible to complete back to back without one of two things taking place: A). participants taking 1-2 minutes of rest in total, when summed up; B). participants significantly altering the form of certain movements due to exhaustion and lack of attention (I wonder why?). Having said those facts, even people who are able to complete the exercise back to back, are not utilizing its full potential! Honestly, the title represents the potential of this workout, and in that sense I wouldn’t say it is misleading. Moreover (and this is also important)… One research study over at Appalachian State University has been carried out to determine how many calories a person can burn after a vigorous workout. The findings were published in the Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise. In short, the participants in this study managed to burn 420 calories during a 45-minute session. The afterburn effect, however, was measured in a metabolic chamber for over 14 hours, revealing that additional 190 calories were burned. A link to the study is added below. When you take the 750+ calories burned within our private test group, and the likely possibility for an after burn effect as high as 200 calories, we are literally at the 1000 mark. What I can reassure people, is that few workout sessions exist that are able to match these results considering the lack of equipment, the convenience of a home setting, and the forgiveness of the moves being selected for inclusion. *References:* Knab, A. M., Shanely, R. A., Corbin, K. D., Jin, F., Sha, W., Nieman, D. C., (2011). A 45- minute vigorous exercise bout increases metabolic rate for 14 hours. Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise. Great question! I'm glad to see others question stuff like this, because promoting a specific number for a calorie burn coming from a workout isn't scientifically proven.
@sp4rtyon4 жыл бұрын
Fitness Updated So it’s a 30 minute video NOT a 30 minute workout. More like an hour workout with breaks everyone would need. One minute on and 15 seconds rest is not doable. Very misleading and really not cool. Humans are such great disinformation junkies to sell their shit on false premises. Be more real and true not misleading please.
@gugart4 жыл бұрын
Because of clickbait. Did you click on the video because of the title? Sad that a pretty decent workout routine somewhat ruined by an over exaggerated title. I'm used to clickbait by now, but the really lame explanation of the title really makes me cringe.
@FitnessUpdated4 жыл бұрын
@@gugart Hey Arturo, we really appreciate your comment, truly. And the criticism is well received. The sad reality is that platforms today are what they are, and most of us newcomers have to compete with a vast sea of content. I hope that we are not misleading people, and I want to believe that. The math almost checks out, and this *IS* one of the most efficient workouts considering the lack of equipment, the convenience of a home setting, and the ease of completing each move (the length is forgiving as well!). Note, also, that we haven't seen a person complete it back to back, so in theory it can really go as high as 1000! I understand that clickbait practices are annoying, but it is REALLY hard to show a video to 100 people, let alone thousands. If not for the marketing approach, 99% of you would never have seen this video. I hope that our transgression is tolerable, considering the positive feedback from most people so far, and the numbers explained above. Hope you become a fan!

Hi everybody, I just did this workout, I completed it but I skipped some moves to be honest. I weighted myself before 69.5 kg After 67.7 kg My height is 1.7m And I I'm fasting because of Ramadan ( I haven't drank water or eaten) I will continue everyday until I master it. I hope this gives you an indication on whether you should do it or not. Stay safe.
@FitnessUpdated4 жыл бұрын
Kudos for your persistence, that's brutal! And just to think about losing 1.8 kg!!! However, please make sure to stay safe and avoid intense workouts during a fast! If you do not hydrate, or if you simply deplete your muscle glycogen... it can be very dangerous! As far as I know (please correct me if wrong), eating and drinking is permitted after sunset, right? In that case, make sure to eat as healthy as you can, and try small carb servings but consume food more frequently (instead of one giant meal, in order to avoid a spike in blood sugar, and essentially store these carbs as adipose tissue - fat). Keep safe and enjoy the fast.

I just completed this workout. I will not repeat but here are my numbers. I am a 50 year old male who weighs around 200 pounds. I have been doing fitness since April 2020. I expended 450 calories and that is with commercial interruptions 3 times. My average heart rate was 133 beats per minute. My Maximum Heart rate was 184 beats per minute. I noticed the guy in the orange shirt was starting to wilt , so I did not feel too bad, when I had to 🛑 for a bit. This session is no joke and it is arduous to be sure, but you can get through it. Do not worry about the calories count where it says 1000 calories workout. That is if you do it back to back. Can your best friend or sibling get through this workout without flailing and failing?

Hey there, Although completing it back to back by keeping correct form, maintaining the same level of intensity and not taking any breaks is *nearly* impossible, you can certainly come close to 90%+ performance. Here is an advice - do not extend the length of the session, but rather take the necessary pauses and come back with gusto! As you progress, your pauses *will* become shorter, and your bursts more intense. Allow yourself to fall short of perfection. It will come with time!

Alright KZbinrs! This comment will help you understand this workout. *When I started the workout, my Fitbit showed I was around 1275 calories burned. After the workout I'm at 1485 (800 calories off from 1,000) *The entire workout is some type of jumping exercises besides the VERY LAST exercise (walking planks side to side). So be aware if you're looking for low impact on the legs. *The length of each exercise seems to vary from 30 to 60 seconds but he doesn't tell you so it's not informative. *He doesn't specifically tell you when to start each exercise so you're not getting full potential time. I'm not even sure if the rests between are all the same. *Its still relatively a tough workout for 30 minutes but it's not as neatly structured as of videos out there (literally the last exercise he doesn't even tell you when to stop...)

Hey Angelos, Cannot tell for sure. Though I must recommend against these types of workouts given your age. Most people overestimate what can be acheived within a week, but underestimate what can be acheived within a month or two given proper diet and regular moderate intensity exercise. Considering your age, I urge you to take the slow lane, which to be entirely frank is not slow at all.

@FitnessUpdated3 жыл бұрын
Hey there, While there isn't an exact match, other workouts are of similar intensity and type. The platform on the website combines these together to compose weekly and monthly programs. You will also have a daily schedule of healthy recipes specific to your goals, as well as progress tracking through an interactive calendar. Additionally, we are working on a motivational section as well. Each program is easy to modify, and will continually change when necessary, just by providing one click feedback. This ensures that your program is adjusted to your goals and preferences not only at the beginning, but throughout its duration. The monthly and annual packages are both affordable, and can be cancelled whenever you want, so no reason not to give it a spin. Hope this answers some questions about the platform. Take care and enjoy working out

Hey Josh, We tried the countdown in our first beta version, but test groups started to pause more. How many times do you have to do this to lose 1000 calories
@FitnessUpdated4 жыл бұрын
In theory, if you are not taking any breaks during exercises, or in-between them, and you are paying attention to proper form, you should be hitting close to 1000 calories with a single session. But since most of these variables are hard to maximize, many people would need few weeks before being able to leverage the full potential of this exercise. Look at it this way - if you are ready to complete the workout back to back, while keeping proper form, one session is about enough. The workout CAN burn 1000 calories, but you have to do the work, and do it right :)

Hey there, All of our videos are available on our platform. It offers structured programs, guidance, nutrition plans and much more. KZbin, however, is simply a way for us to share some of the material with you, and of course promote ourselves. There will be another video added to the channel soon, but whether we might share them all in the near future is still uncertain. With that out of the way, have you tried them all so far? :)

Hey i am currently 16 year old can i do this workout everyday to lose weight?? I am currently 50 kg but i look kinda fat I don't know so will it be okay? Plus when would I start seeing the results??
@FitnessUpdated2 жыл бұрын
Hey Shruti, These workouts are intense and demanding. The best path forward would be to consult with a doctor, or talk with your parents. Even if everything is ok, and you get a green light, you can still modify the intensity and duration of each move, as to ease your way into the program. Regarding time, it varies with each individual, but results are usually seen within one week after starting the program. Provided, of course, that there are 6 daily workouts in a single week (excluding Sunday), and proper adherence to the principles of healthy nutrition. After a month or two, dramatic transformation can be certainly expected. Take care

Hey there, Just try to take longer periods of rest, and do not exhaust yourself during the beginning of the workout. Eventually, each window of rest will be shorter and shorter, until you are able to complete several exercises in a row, almost without interrupting the sequence. Kudos for trying!
