I have had the 2.0T in several vehicles. 2 in Wranglers, love it. Thx for high mile review. It doesnt work hard, torquey, give me hope.

Im at 350,000 in my Silverado. Factory engine, factory transmission 5.3/4l60. Good oil and regular filter changes goes a long way. I wanna do my transmission fluid at some point in my Jeep, but I gotta read up and learn how to in these sealed transmissions. Good video, I’m leaning 2.0 if I ever get another JL or JT

The trans fluid process is a nightmare, it helps if you wait for a colder month.

Thanks for the video! Looking at a 2024 and can't decide between the 4cyl or the V6. Will only be running 35's and towing a pop-up camper, so the 270hp is fine. It's nice to find an honest review from a normal Jeeper.

Look at dyno runs. The 2.0 delivers torque to the wheels very close to it's crank rating at a low rpm while the V6 only makes about 200ft/lbs of torque at a higher rpm. That is your biggest difference right there and you'll notice it once you add bigger tires (33's and up).

I have the 2.0l love it! My son has the v6. Id pick my 2.0 over the v6 any day.

I have a 2023 2L turbo JL too - thanks for sharing this exiting news! May I ask - what fuel do you use - 87 recommended or 91 optimal . I really don't understand their damn manual :(
@JeepinBubba4 күн бұрын
I have run 87, occasionally on a road trip I'll run 91, but it has been absolutely fine with 87.
@slavakuznetsov49664 күн бұрын
@@JeepinBubba thank you! It's really important to hear it from someone who successfully passed 100K mark. I've been getting very mixed massages from mechanics and owners as to the consequences of running 87 octane vs 91 octane. Some claim 87 will kill the engine faster (despite VVT), others say 91 will stress it it out even more and should only be used occasionally (towing). Manual says 87 is recommended, but 91 is optimal? Should optimal also be recommended? 91 used to be recommended 2018-2019, then they changed, and some people believe because customers did not like the idea of running premium fuel all the time (Stelantis kinda changed it as a marketing stunt to up their sales). Anyways, thanks a lot again!!! It was also great to hear what oil you using - cause I have no idea what oil they put at the dealership.

Some do, Valvoline makes a great full synthetic high mileage and it has served me well over the last 12 plus years of using it.
