Your channel is one of the rare safe havens for the INTJ mind. I feel seen and relate to a lot of the problems an INTJ faces in our daily lives. As a younger INTJ, I've always felt lost, lonely, and isolated from my peers and most people. Even worse, since I'm a girl who lives in an Asian country with deeply ingrained traditions and certain gender roles, it's even tougher to make friends or just be my true self in front of people. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells all the time when I talk to them. I simply don't understand them. I hate conforming to the "norms" that don't make sense or just straight-up inefficient to me. So yeah, so nice knowing that I'm not the only weird one out there in the world 😅. Thank you so much Jon! Your channel has been very inspirational and comforting for me, specifically as an INTJ. Congratulations on the milestone🎉🎉 I hope you keep making more insightful videos like this in the future!

“The world is a harsh place” Yea, I think people should be nicer and more empathetic towards others, because you won’t know what others are going through! The MBTI community is like my lil home where I can belong. Growing up I always felt like I can’t fit in anywhere. I’m glad MBTI got its recognition and it’s quite popular within the cosplay community in my country. I see a lot of people put their types in their bio of their social media accounts!
@justcallmejon22Ай бұрын
Out of curiosity, what seems to be the most common type in the cosplay community?
@RaidenShogun..Ай бұрын
@@justcallmejon22 A lot of them have ESFP, ENTP, ESTP, ISFP in their bios. A lot of them like to collab together, into photography too and like to dance, looks very Se heavy. They took the 16p test and not type by cognitive functions so I won't know their real types for sure. I know one ENTJ and one INFP, and they really stick out. That ENTJ works on a lot of props, doing things all the time, I think that is what his Te wants. He is quiet and doesn't talk much, and when he talks, he talks about what he is currently up to. The INFP girl doesn't make props at all, she rarely attend conventions. During the weekend, she stays at home and draws her favorite characters. Recently, there was a MBTI cosplay group where they cosplay their MBTI types, I didn't join but there was *A LOT* of sensing types, high Se users. The yellow people. This made me conclude that this fun hobby attracted a lot of high Se types,

Hello! I’m 46 and only recently took the MBTI test to discover that I’m INTJ (My son who is also INTJ took the test for a college course and asked me to take it. We’ve always basically been the same person. Honestly I think he wanted me to take it b/c he knew I’d probably have the same results and wanted to see how accurate the test was. 😂) It was mildly disturbing to actually feel understood. I’ve always understood that I provoke a love or hate reaction in most people when they first meet me until they get to know me and I’m okay with that. I guess what threw me off is that most people never understand the “why” behind the things I do and say and this one little test seemed to know me better than I knew myself. I think it’s already helped with my communication skills. It also feels good to have a community of like minded people. It makes me feel like less of an alien I guess 🤷🏻♀️😊. Anyways, I just wanted to say congratulations! I think what you’re doing is really amazing!

1:10 yeah but as an ENTP, I rather have someone admit their bias than me having to do the work to figure out their bias. Now it just becomes a yes/no, which is a lot easier but still a pain. Trying to resolve MBTI for the past 16 months and counting here so yeah. Imagine having to do all that work without mbti. *PAIN!*

@@RaidenShogun.. Most people don't think that deeply about things but just want a good laugh so it's understandable anyway. I watch FJ mostly because it's entertaining and nothing more. The smaller channels are better at forming a close community with like-minded people, just like Jon said: it's a niche within a niche within a niche, and withing another niche. It's similar to a sales funnel I'd say.
