I'd love to see you turn it into a sun-catcher! (Like, sand the edges & make a cut wood or wrapped/banded frame for it. Attach with resin, & add an eye hook to hang it from. ) The light shining through it was just lovely & I can see it hanging on your porch. The shadows might even look like stained glass! Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe I'm right. That's the fun of experimenting. Just re-envision the products of your "mistakes" & they can become something new. This is pretty much how new techniques are born. But I am quite sure I don't have to tell you that. 😊😉❤ Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.

Very pretty and puffy, reminds me of a succulent. The difference between a tint and alcohol inks is, as you found out, tints don't spread the same and ttints hold their colour over time which inks don't, they fade. Hope that helps :)

Will you be doming over the bottom with a clear resin? Also, the dip in the top would make it a useful place to keep beads or needs when doing crafts which like to roll about.

Beautiful! I have found that resin tints and mice powder has to be mixed into the resin or else the resin doesn't set properly. Omg after seeing that spider I am glad I live in 🇨🇦 . At least here we don't have very many animals and insects that can kill you!! Just kidding, it looks lovely there.

I am so sad you killed the Huntsman spider! They are good to have around. Not necessarily IN your house unless you like spiders, but catching it and letting it go outside would have been much better. I live in Arizona and we have HUGE spiders too. Btw, piece is gorgeous! Oh, and tints are awesome! You use them to color your resin just like you do pigments but with tints you have more freedom to go from translucent to opaque.
