I had 5 debts to pay off at the beginning of 2020. 3 credit cards, a student loan & money I owed my Mom. Despite how crazy 2020 has been for all of us, I have managed to pay off my Mom, my student loan, 1 credit card & I am now one payment away from paying off another credit card. I will have paid off 4 out of 5 debts in 9 months!! 😍😊

My reset is 100 % habit number 11 and I try to notice and connect with nature every single day in whatever capacity I can, whether that's going for a hike in the mountains, walking along the river behind my house, appreciating the basil I can pick straight from my balcony, or noticing the birds living in the trees outside my window. This keeps me relatively sane in our crazy world
@HeyItsMaori4 жыл бұрын
I reset by going on a peaceful walk. When I was on campus I would go for a walk once I finish classes, when I need a break from homework, or just when I have been sitting inside for to long. I love nature and exercising. walking is something that can be as short or long as you would like. Oh I love to sleep. I probably get more sleep than I should. I prioritize it. My parents think I’m crazy for going to sleep early when I have no reason to get up.

May sound kinda weird but something that helps me reset is organizing my sock and underwear drawers lol nothing fancy, I just lay my undies flat and put my most worn ones of the top so they're easier to grab and then for socks I just put the pairs together if I can find them haha. But cleaning in general, especially like wiping down electronics (phones, laptop, etc.) help me feel like I have a clean slate to work with.

"Push past your fear" Is a good one. I got this quote from a Yes Theory video and had to write it down: "Avoiding an experience because of fear is an indicator of what I actually should pursue. Take it as a sign from life: I have something to learn, Or a previous judgement to be challenged " So true. Now to live it out.

Occasionally I'll find myself feeling so exhausted for a few days on end and wondering, "Am I sick?" And then after taking a few days to actually rest and make sleep a priority, I realize I wasn't sick, I was just tired. It's so easy to forget that even a hour or two less sleep than usual a few days in a row really can make a huge difference in how I feel

I am extremely pale. I put on SPF 50 anytime I so much as go near a window, hahaha. I think there's even new research out there that's saying that the light from our computer screens can age our skin. The key is finding a sunscreen you look forward to putting on. Mine is the Purito Centella Safe Sun (not the unscented version. there's no artificial fragrance, but it's the scent of the centella that I love). It's so soothing, almost like a spa treatment. It's the moment of "ahhhhhh" in my morning.
