Doesn't have to be slick with a Clarkson style cliffhanger summary. An extended review on roads that we can all drive and a style that makes the audience feel like we're in the passenger seat is perfect. Everyone these days seems obsessed with launch control, drag races and lap times and, whilst these things are entertaining, it can sometimes be a bit tedious. An extended drive at legal(ish) speeds was great - in my view anyway. Thank you. Would love to have a drive in one .

Great video, fabulous car. As you hint frankly a Cayman GTS is all you'll ever need certainly on road and probably for the majority of us on the track. Arguably more practical too with the boot and smaller form making daily chores like car parks easier. I'll admit I'm biased as back in 2007 I chose a Cayman over a 4S, pretty much half the price and possibly more fun too. I'll never know, still driving the Cayman. With unlimited funds yes I'd have the 992 as it has that extra sparkle but one that I'm not really capable of extracting.

gt3's are amazing obviously, the performance, engineering excellence, history blah blah blah but in mx5 on those roads you are in heaven and not worried about the size of the car or scraping carbon fibre bodywork or wishing you were on a track so you could actually use the thing as intended and maybe even 3rd gear, and then on the track you would be better off in a radical. some noise though.
