Hey! I have a question. If most of the things that we are misinformed/ informed about (like, non stick vessels, preservatives, refined oils, carcinogens in certain food items, etc) aren’t that harmful then how come India has become “the cancer capital of the world” and I have had several relatives die of cancer who were apparently healthy. Most of them didn’t have any kind of addiction and were physically fit as well. What has gone SO wrong with our diet or lifestyle that we are seeing such a great spike in cancer cases!!??
@krishashokКүн бұрын
That requires a separate video to explain / one of the key reasons (and this is going to sound counterintuitive) is that we are now testing much more, and we get to know more often. And people are living longer because of better nutrition and age is quite straightforwardly correlated with higher cancer incidence

I love your videos and use them a lot to debunk stuff but I'm gonna use some of the points you made as peer counterarguments in the name of science: 1. Do not always blindly follow social media including your videos. Challenge them, as Neil DeGrasse Tyson would say. 2. Liver and Kidney Health is important, especially in the times we live in. 3. There are no super foods, but just like you need to figure out what works for your microbiome ... There are foods and supplements (+ lifestyle and exercise) you can use and maintain to help your liver & kidneys performance levels ... 4. You can use Continuous Glucose Monitors, bloodwork results to study this on your own body over time ... and figure out what works. This is in reference to #2 & #3 and I have personal proof for this. And I know some of these modern CGMs, regular blood work, etc. are beyond the reach of a lot of people, one thing I would say for Indians ... More complete proteins, more weight training ... does wonders!

Always, you produce very interesting videos, and those lunches look very tasty. You put in a lot of work. Great T-shirt too. Re sugar, although sugar is sugar is sugar when counting calories. If you have gout, the high-fructose sugars are more problematic because they raise uric acid levels more. Jaggary is actually better than honey in that regard, albeit slightly, and high-fructose corn syrup is a disaster. No matter. One should only ever eat sugars minimally, if at all, I have read. I am elderly, and am finding it important to limit sugar. My chai must now be much less sweet than I used to make it. Thanks for the great video.
@nitthesh8 күн бұрын
If we adhere to the daily recommended allowance for simple sugars, then it really doesn't matter if it is honey or jaggery. The dosage would be too low to make a difference even if consumed in the long run. The side effects come into the picture only when the daily consumption increases, which is already bad as macros. So the difference would really not matter for anyone who tries to eat a normal diet like you and me.

1. Single ingredients are neither villians nor heroes. (U eat them always with a other food which at the end becomes a good meal) 2. Choice of the cookware has no effect on the nutritional value of the food. 3. Eat more protein (whey is excellent supplement) and do adequate weightlifting. 4. Eat more vegetables fruits and dal (legumes) 5. Amount of fat is more important than choice of oil (refined oil is good for deep fry)(dont fry ur brains choosing right oil coz everything is fat) 6. Satvik is home food rajasik is outside food and tamasik is ultra processed food. Old category of satvik rajasik and Thomas sick is outdated and not relevant today. 7. Jaggery sugar ,ghee is fat & pink salt is salt. 8. Additives are not the problem over snacking is the problem 9. Air fryer, microwave and non stick won't give you cancer. 10.
