Honestly really beginning to believe this channel is mhj biased rather than taking a neutral stance. Generally speaking the photographer for the shoots would pick location and styling not the hybe or the artists so any similarities would be because of the photographers choice plus things like hair styles tend to be similar for young girls. I think the fact that most companies will use similar if not the same strategies to get their artists out there like fashion shows/ads etc would be pretty common too and since we don’t know how these deals came about there is no saying how the deals were made or the terms of the deal there is no way to know if it was meant as copying or not. She’s pretty ballsy for claiming plagiarism when that’s exactly what she done herself doesn’t matter if it’s 2, 10 or 20 years it’s still plagiarism. The argument I read from someone else was that NJ took a bunch of different inspirations and ideas and packaged it into a girl group, and ILLIT got their inspirations and ideas straight from NJ. Nah people keep saying that new jeans is similar to the Mexican girl group jeans and I’m going to say that Jeans was actually typical early 2000’s, Brandi like fashion. I WILL SAY that new jeans has taken a LOT from artist like pinkpantheress and tinashe and other artists like themselves which is a whole other issue that I believe should be addressed. If ILLIT was under ADOR and they came out with this concept it would be alright but they’re NOT. They’re under BELIFT so the profit made from this group will go directly to BELIFt with no credit given to the producers, stylists and concept/performance directors who worked hard for years in ADOR. THAT is what’s so controversial. I think that both companies handled this horribly. If the allegations against min heejin’s illegal attempt to acquire more shares of ADOR and leaking private info of artist is true, that’s so terrible, but I think those things should not take away from the hard work of the employee under ADOR who’s had their hard work essentially completely stolen.
