how to be self discipline 1. rewrite your goals everyday - reminding yourself why your success matters . 2. technological shortcuts - use productivity apps to track your behaviour and routine. 3. raw diet - vegetables, nuts and unprocessed foods to allow you to have more energy and motivations. 4. productive pairing - combine your should dos with your want dos 5. deciding the difference. - pick one thing that you’d like to change. one thing which would’ve made your day better. - then plan out your change. 6. know your nature - figure out which time in the day/night you’re most productive and then do your best in that period of time. 7. advanced decisions - it’s much easier to stay discipline if there’s nothing there to break your concentration 8. wasting weekends - it’s important to have days off but not every weekend you should take off as it will make you stay off from your ambitions. - weekends aren’t excuses to not reach for your goals 9. timed blocks - try separating your day into smaller blocks. - do your tasks in blocks which would make you feel your day is going faster rather than you staring at the clock 10. boost your glucose - everytime you talk, think or walk you body in need of glucose. - you need a baseline of simple glucose to help you mentally and physically. - boost it with fruits or a spoon of honey. 11. shrink your celebrations - take shorter breaks to keep your momentum going. - don’t celebrate too long after completing your tasks as it will drag your motivation 12. obey your calendar - you should gather all your commitments all in one place - this will keep track your obligations while giving you a concise overview of each day, week or month thank me later cheers have a nice day 😌

Sorry bro but that's an oversimplification. Let's say you're pursuing a career which requires intense studying at university in order to enter that career. You will feel suffering, not love, when you're studying 6-7 hours every day hunched over a desk. The point is, the end results benefits outweighs the suffering involved with studying. Nothing ever comes easily. Even if you love what you do, if you're not being challenged and if you don't feel the urge to give up, you're not pushing yourself enough. That's my philosophy.

Shah zad theres always gonna be apart of your job that you don’t like whether you like the job or not. What he is saying is that you need to find something you’re passionate about so you aren’t miserable trying to make money. You’re not going to like your job everyday but most of the time yes
@wiwiweriley42905 жыл бұрын
I used to have that approach - focus on things I'm passionate about and pursue them. Believed it would make keeping myself motivated easier. But turned out it works the other way around for me. Instead of passion leading to motivation and progress, it's progress that brings motivation and passion. I've become passionate about many things by working hard on them. Turns out Improving and succeeding can make you greatly enjoy things you originally didn't really have much of a connection with. Well, that's how it works for me anyway, no guarantees it will do the trick for others.

The *shrink celebration* tip closely relates to Dopamine conditioning. ... If your brain is used to a lot of dopamine, no matter what shape or form it comes from, that's what's keeping you from being productive & leads you to procrastination. ... Practice *good conditioning*: & when it comes to addictions, celebrate with a vice only when you have a success rather than when you feel stressed out; ( wether it is youtube, cigar, blunt etc ) google ways to clear out stress other than through a vice.

A very successful friend of mine shared with me some tips that changed me . I was telling her my issues with self discipline and she said in the morning as she fills out her time blocking sheet, she closes her eyes and visualizes going to bed that night and how she would like to feel. Disappointed or satisfied ? When you go to bed satisfied with a productive day , it starts a cycle of wanting more of that feeling . It really helped me. She also said “ See your project done! See it and feel how it will feel.” Finally she said “ Wake up with determination so you can go to bed with satisfaction!” Good luck to all on this journey !

@JohnDoeL3374 жыл бұрын
being an entrepreneur is not a goal; it is a means to an end it may be financial freedom or it can differ for each one. sacrifice a few weekends, not all of them; and dedicate 2-3 hrs each weekend to self improvement

sometimes I feel that these productivity tips always implicitly assume that everyone is single and has flexible work environments. In reality most of us have external constraints. What if you are a night person but you have to wake up early or your kids wake you up? You can't always choose when to do what. That being said, I've experienced that people with constraints (athletes and musicians, more so those with families) are often *more* productive as others, probably because they are trained in self-discipline.
