12 volt PC for Motorhome with WiFi 3G and Gaming

This is the 12v PC I built for my self build motorhome. It has a WiFi booster antenna, 3G booster and works as a WiFi Hot Spot. It's pretty quick for a little PC and doubles as a media-center and a games console. I built this so I can work from the motorhome at the beech instead of the office.

Super video. Anytime you can run directly off a 12V DC source (your deep-cycle in the RV), you are way ahead on power management. The 12V battery is more stable than any cheap inverter. The losses will be minimised when you do not run through an inverter, then the power supply and finally into your PC. What you have created is inspiring.

I wanted to use a Intel NUC mini PC. I'm currently bidding used NUC5i3RYH that requires only 12-14V. It could be an easier way for some people to use already build mini PC. But... not for me :) I'll backoff from that auction :) you inspired me with that M3-ATX! I wasn't even thinking about building my own Mini PC, using some Mini MBoard, etc. Thank you! :)

I think that little PC would work well for being a central "hub" for everything on the RV, including a 4-camera "surveillance" security type system. Thanks for the great idea!

Dude.. That computer are sick.. i never seen anything like it.. 12 volts, and it is so fast.. damn man.. i have 2 x 100 volt 97 amp batteries, and a solar panel.. i could run this computer all day with this.. how much did it cost you to make it? i'm hooked.. going to hook up my solar panels to my batteries next month in my new appartment, and do some aquaponics that runs purely on solar.. this computer would be able to also be hooked up.. in reality, i just need 1-2 small 12 volt water pumps to pump around the water
