EDIT: The driver was the only occupant. There was no child in the vehicle
Trooper's Report:
On 7/18/2024 at approximately 1523 hours, I, Trooper A. Cass, observed a black 4-door car (V1) traveling above the posted 60
mph speed limit. V1 crossed multiple lanes of traffic on I-630 W at Mile Marker 8 towards the I-430 N Exit. V1 then increased
speed rapidly and passed several cars. As I moved behind V1 and caught up to them I obtained a radar reading of 77 mph. I
initiated a traffic stop as V1 took Exit 8B to I-430 N. We came to a stop on the East shoulder of I-430 N at Mile Marker 7. I
approached the vehicle, introduced myself, and gave the reason for the stop. S1 advised she was in a hurry to take her child to
the doctor and did not have her driver's license, registration, or Insurance with her. When asked for her name and date of birth,
S1 provided a name of Becca Smith. I returned to my unit to check this information and V1
accelerated away from the traffic stop.
I notified dispatch that I was in pursuit of V1. V1 took Exit 8 (Rodney Parham) and went East on Rodney Parham. V1 then
turned North on Breckenridge Rd. against the red light and continued to Pleasant Valley Rd., reaching speeds of 80 to 90 mph.
V1 failed to stop at multiple stop signs along Pleasant Valley Rd. V1 came out on Cantrell Rd. and took the I-430 S ramp. Once
on I-430 S, V1 accelerated to speeds above 100 mph. I was able to perform a successful TVI to end the pursuit. V1 struck a
guardrail on the East side of I-430 S and rolled into the median. S1 was ejected from the vehicle into the median. Medical aid
was immediately rendered and continued until M.E.M.S. arrived on-scene and transported S1 to U.A.M.S.
S1 was later identified as Divionna Bullock. After numerous tests Bullock was admitted to the hospital and will have a warrant
issued for her arrest upon release from the medical facility.
Charges:
-Driving on suspended license
-Obstruction
-Felony Fleeing
-Reckless driving
-Speeding (more than 15 MPH over limit)
-No insurance

A GPS tag doesn't prove who was driving the car though. In UK the registered owner has a legal duty to identify who was driving their vehicle in a particular time & place (within previous 14 days only) but USA doesn't have that - so drivers have to be caught red-handed.

According to our justice system this lady was also an innocent victim of a maniac driver. Police routinely act like they are the judge, jury and executioner but in what world does this lady deserve to be chased down and run off the road like that because she was accused of speeding? police are absolutely out of control. A professional officer that was concerned with serving and protecting would have taken the tag number, gotten a warrant and arrested the lady at her house at which time she could have enjoyed her right to a fair trial by her peers. Not a jury of one raging officer. The real miracle here is that the officer's absolute lack of sound judgement or training didn't result in multiple injuries or deaths - deliberately causing a wreck at that speed on a busy highway. Truly she should be removed from her job, barred from future police work and tried for crimes that she committed while in uniform. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! We are not slaves to these police overlords. They are people just like you and me that happen to have a badge and a gun. "Serve and Protect' now means "Harass and Collect"

stupid, unsafe move by the trooper. Multiple opportunities earlier in the chase to PIT the car at much lower speeds with no other traffic around. Could have done it a couple times on the divided highway early - could have done it on the onramp to the interstate with no other cars around. Waited til the highest possible speed with the most other cars around to PIT them - in front of a huge highway sign and guardrail. Bad choices, should have ended it much sooner and more safely.

I'll never understand how pigs think it's acceptable to endanger multiple lives chasing after a suspect, especially when the charges will bring on an arrest warrant that's near impossible to evade forever. Hell she's a kid without a fully matured brain for crying out loud! And before anyone argues "she's 18," look up how human brains aren't completely mature until our mid to later 20's. This is more ridiculous than a natural fight or flight response, in my opinion. Hence why many lawmakers are advocates for no chase laws for misdemeanor offenses, which no OL and DUS are.

Most smartphones made since February of 2022 have a feature that notifies you when an unfamiliar GPS tracking device is on you. This was done in response to the Airtag stalking & robbery scandal that has been prevalent since 2021. Apple first rolled out the feature for Airtags in February of 2022. Google immediately followed suit but expanded the tracking alerts to cover any and all unknown GPS trackers. Apple has yet to expand support beyond Airtags. If you have an Android device, you can check to see if this feature is enabled by doing the following: Settings > Safety & Emergency > Unknown tracker alerts > Apple users, sorry. You're out of luck if it's not an Airtag. Android users, congrats. Your device actually cares about your safety and privacy.

That woman/ girl wasn’t just speeding because she was being pursued - she was speeding long before that, it was the reason why she was pulled over to begin with, so the officer had to make the decision to get her off the road even if it meant having to chase her. The officer knew that she was a dangerous driver, and since she so boldly took off during a traffic stop, it tells the officer that there are likely additional reasons to catch this girl.

If this person did nothing else wrong in the video, I'd still say that her doing 90+ MPH in a residential before blowing a stop sign, should result in no less than a full year in prison. That was insanely dangerous. This is why fleeing needs to be five years minimum, with judges having the ability to add more if they are psychotic like this driver. I think that knowing fleeing is 5+ years by itself would deter it from happening in many cases. Even if people still decide to do it, you're keeping someone off the streets for a long time who is willing to flee. Either way you win.

Her running didn't cause her to go 90 mph past homes and schools, the cop playing the game of "I'll match your speed and raise you another 20mph." is the cause of multiple cars doing 90 past homes. Cell phone tracking will find her even if she never went home. Ask the Jan6ers about cell tracking. Chases are for steroid abusers and addrenaline addicts. Chases are unneeded & obsolete.

In the moment of PIT contact she was doing 122 mph (GPS). She PITted a car going 120 towards the left. Towards on-going rather heavy 60+ traffic. Not that there were any room on the right side, because there were plenty cars there as well. She should get lottery, because luck was really shining on her that day.

Rules that say what not to do only tell the criminals what to do. Like in Portland they said the cops can't give chase after 90. So everyone started going 90, and the number of runners insanely grew.

@@JayRSwanYep. Chase laws and arrest procedures in big cities have absolutely crippled police enforcement. And that's all on top of the average officer's fear of being accused and prosecuted as "institutionally racist" for apprehending a criminal who isn't white.
