My favorite xenomprph mentioned is the video would definitely have to be NewBorn, I remember seeing Newborn and initially thinking “oh dear god please kill it with fire or chuck it out the airlock” but towards the end of the movie when it finally was killed I felt remorse for the thing, it was clearly more human than Xeno, yet still too far from humanity that it couldn’t be spared. It showed it had emotion and limited consciousness, from fear to empathy, rage and pain. It was an extremely unique take on a xenomorph and in a way, it was beautiful

than years later in a prequel movie. the xenomorphs are indeed part human. and in the comics and the newborn the xenos are starting to take human form. and like every writer they think all life have to be human shape form in order to be smart. and that's just annoying. like what's happening with star trek, doctor who and a few other shows and movies. but thank god every once in awhile not every fucking life have to be human form to show how smart they are. I guessing with Xenos if you think about the reds for a sec. maybe there some xenos that want to evolve in different ways and not all xeno think the same. showing hints they have similar thoughts that we do.

Great video as I love the alien franchise, only gripe is referring to facehuggers as chestbursters. With Ripley in resurrection her dna was mixed with with the alien dna and vice verse, that’s why the queen was able to give birth with a womb and present us with a more humanoid alien offspring.

Just like how the Ripley clone had acidic blood, and fantastic instincts just like the Xenomorphs do. The cloning process mixed the DNA around between the two of them, it's part of why it took so many tries just to get the right one so they could get the queen out. If you look at the scene where Ripley finds the lab with the other 7 clones, you'll see some of them come out with much more Alien like appearances than she did. They fused too much with the queen herself, and weren't viable to extract the queen embryo from.

One thing people don't know about Xenomorphs, they weren't always like when we see them. There was a novel that speculated the xenomorphs were a looooong time ago originally highly advanced, but an apocalyptic event hit their home planet with massive amounts of radiation, destroying their culture, setting them back to the "stone age" equivalent, along with damaging their genetics, making them more feral after a while. Essentially all the xenomorphs we see, are the human equivalent of a brain damaged cave-man who suffered from radiation poisoning. This was all before Ridley Scott made the utterly, utterly MORONIC "Prometheus" and sequel.

Someone also speculated that whatever they originally were they simply kept evolving to become a "perfecf" organism. As such, they wouldn't need technology, language, etc so they seem hyper feral when they're actually a more advanced species than intelligent ones. Presumably the Antarctic Queen was never effectively killed, owing to xenomorph's indifference to atmosphere or water: it's safe to assume as well that the, Aliens, movie queen was merely inconvenienced being jettisoned into space at the end; whole intact specimens are not dead.

The queen in Aliens is dead, but not because it was jettisoned. It died because it was still within the gravity well of LV-426 and eventually underwent an uncontrolled reentry to the atmosphere, followed by hitting the ground at a velocity of several km/s. The Antarctic queen likely isn't dead, merely dormant as there is no animals of sufficient mass within its vicinity at the bottom of the ocean, so it would probably go dormant and wait (maybe laying a few eggs first). That said however there is a way it may have died. The spear that pierced its head broke through its exoskeleton leaving a hole, allowing the water pressure to enter, which would effectively crush it from the inside. It could also have just picked a direction and started moving after shedding the water tank and chains, and would eventually have made landfall somewere with larger animals, that or it's taken to making xenomorph penguin hybrids. Now I want to see a penguin xenomorph...

I wonder why no one comments that technically predalien can't have dreadlocks simply because, based on the AvP book with Machiko Noguchi as the main character, it is said that Yautja were doing their dreadlocks when they become adolescents, and it was quite a painful procedure. 7:55 it’s shown in the movie. Ripley leaves the elevator to go find Newt and looks back as they automatically go back to the platform level. When she gets back to the elevators with Newt she pushes both buttons. All the Queen had to do was get in the second elevator.

I love aliens but I always hate how it's just Ridley Scott who gets the credit and not also H.R. Ginger who was the lead artist who created the Xenomorph and helped with the set design. He doesn't get enough recognition tbh

I think Yautja is pronounced (if you slow it down) "yeah-out-jah", but in real time without over stressing each syllable it's "yout-jah", "out" with a "yeah" sound before it ("yout") followed by "jah" like "yes" in German. 🤓🤘☮️

Awesome video. A few issues. But Here is mine. Weyland-Yutani Industries went under decades before this, as this is happening 200 years after the events in Alien 3. United Systems Military is just that, there is no United Systems Military-The Company. It's just the United Systems Military, that's it!! Wey-Yu was bought out by Walmart after they went under. They had defense contracts under the military. Meaning they had access to private military security funding if they needed it. Wey-Yu was and has never been a military organization, they were a Terran Growth Conglomerate! Their primary premise was building and expansion. They were investing in the production of Bio-Weapons and the Xenomorphs were considered biological weapons. But The events aboard the Auriga was 2 centuries after Ripley died!! But great video otherwise There were some minor others but this was the painstaking one for myself!

Part of the reasons why I don’t like alien: resurrection is the whole 200 years after ALIENS thing. I mean, why did it take them 200 years to clone Ripley? What were they doing in between that time? And why did nobody think to go back to LV-426 or LV-223? Just why 200 years? Can we get Blomkamp to do his ALIENS now so we can erase A3 from history. Newt Lives.
