Psst this video mainly focuses on Chat GPT* (Which I do know that I said wrong the ENTIRE video hahaha) - but I'd love to create one around tools. For example - I know that there is an interview practice tool that you can talk to verbally!! And I know that a few of the things I talk about in this video also have a "Tool" designed to make them even easier. So if you have any tools you're using that are AI-based, put them in the comments!
TIMELINE
00:00 Intro
0:31 Creation Action Plans
1:20 Learning
2:05 Custom Meal Planning
2:37 Reframing
5:19 Question-storming
5:57 Change your perspective
7:11 Recipes
7:32 Phone scripts
8:35 Preparation
9:09 Find out what you're missing
9:38 Rewording
9:56 Interview training
10:39 Summarising
Here are the prompts that I used (in order)...
☀️ I want to implement the learning system outlined in this article in my day to day life. Are you able to give me a detailed, week-by-week action plan (that also details what I would need to do every day) that guides me on implementing the learnings in this article?
☀️ I want to learn to paint beautiful, dreamy acrylic landscapes featuring nature. I want to get reasonably good at this over the space of ten weeks, and I have about 30 minutes a day to dedicate to it. Are you able to put together a step by step actionable plan using the times shared earlier, that goes in-depth about what I can do each day to improve my skills in this area?
☀️ I'm going to a wedding. I feel socially anxious and am scared it will be terrible. What are some prompting questions to help me to reframe this event?
☀️ I am hosting a garden gathering to help women to connect. Below is the text for the event page. I would love for you to generate helpful questions that will assist me in brainstorming and planning for this event.
☀️ (Here's my difficult situation that's causing tension in my relationships) Can you share some prompting questions that might help me to view their behaviour in a more forgiving, understanding way - helping me to see things from their perspective or another perspective? (Be brutally honest about the details of the situation for this to be extra helpful!)
☀️ We have: (list ingredients). Are you able to give me a recipe for what to cook for dinner?
☀️ I need to call someone to book my car for a service, but I have probably waited too long in-between services and feel embarrassed and a little anxious to make the call. Are you able to give me a script of what I should say when I call and any tips to help me to prepare for the conversation e.g. questions that they might ask?
☀️ What are some questions I should ask myself before I go to a wedding planner with my partner?
☀️ Are you able to simplify this email even further so that the sentences are short and snappy, but still warm?
☀️ I'm being interviewed by Lewis Howes from The School of Greatness. I want to practice this interview with you. Are you able to act as Lewis Howes? This interview will likely focus on topics like habit building and creating an intentional life. Thank you!
☀️ Are you able to summarise (study name) sharing the key outcomes and takeaways. Are you also able to evaluate how reliable this study is?

As a Ph.D. student, I had to pass a German test this May. I used ChatGPT to help me create vocab charts that I could plug into my favorite flashcard review game Gimkit. It used to take me so long to make these charts, but I learned how to get the Ai to format the questions so I could start reviewing them right away. So I could plug in a German paragraph, then ask ChatGPT to format a table with all the nouns and translations, verbs, adverbs, and short phrases. It really helped build my vocabulary. I'm going to have to learn Latin next, and I've already started getting vocab memorized by using this method. Your idea about the phone scripts will be so helpful for my daughter!! I'm trying to think of creative ways to teach my 9th grades about Ai, but I am concerned because I want them to know how valued their thoughts are and their own writing and ideas matter. It's a scary new world, but I don't want to hide from it. Thank you for this video!

What a great idea! I have a friend in Germany who sends me emails in German. There are so many words I don't know and had hoped to be learning them. Now I can just put into ChatGPT and get a vocab list which is likely the more conversational German I am missing. Thanks!

As a business IT student it already helped me immensely when getting stuck in code errors or on complicated things that my teacher isn't able to explain properly. I've gained way more time to use for social interactions, meditation, tidying up and so on. So there's already a big win for me! Thank you for the tips, Michelle! :)

I used it to reword my expression of interest for a job application. I always find it uncomfortable 'selling myself' in these applications so I wrote it in my normal tone and then asked chatGPT to make it sound more confident. It worked really well and somehow because I hadn't wrote the words myself it didn't feel as 'braggy' as it can do 😂

This is a refreshing one! I love these ideas on using AI to nurture human connections. It's not about letting AI take over while we be passive humans but using a tool to help us navigate friction & pain points in order to do the human thing we know we're capable of ❤‍🔥 Thoroughly enjoyed, M!

I like creating characters that I return back to again and again, like Claude my entertainment concierge, or Madame Mercury my astrologer :) I get pretty good movie recommendations by prompting something like "I really like Mulholland Drive and Parasite. Give me more films I might like from the 20th century". I use it for monthly reviews and goal-setting where I ask it to review goals and challenges I've mentioned and help set goals for the month ahead.

This was an awesome video with so many great ideas! I'll definitely be using these. I've used Chat GPT to write me awkward emails, letters of recommendation, ideas for videos & blogs and lots of personal life coaching. Now I'm going to tell it about the 3 sad ingredients we've got left in the fridge and hope it comes up with a good dinner 😂

I swear to God the number of times I've wondered how you're using chatgpt over the last couple months is insane lol I'm SO glad you did a video on some prompts!!! Theyre all incredibly helpful too! I'm still learning how to use it best suited for my needs, but I do have an add-on I pay for monthly which I believe is called AIPRM, and I loveeeee it. Aside from the ridiculous pricing for the higher memberships, I pay for the cheapest one (which is like 5-10 US dollars a month, or something similar) and I think it's totally worth it so far. But deff not something needed to benefit from open AI, I adore chat gpt & it's helped me on so many levels when I get too overwhelmed :)

I’m really trying to keep an open mind with AI/ChatGPT. I’m a professor and am a little worried about my students relying on it too heavily, but, for myself, it’s been such a useful tool in creating lesson plans, content, etc. I always make sure I review it with a critical eye and tweak the language when it just doesn’t sound like something I would say.

I love chatgpt! I'm a teacher so I use it to help me find resources or plan activities for my students. I can also have it create a grading rubric with (fill in the blank indicators). I use children's books to help teach skills and concepts and chatgpt can provide activities based on the book. ❤ It is going to make my life do much easier. I still have to tweak things so it makes sense to me and my students. But sometimes the initial start is so difficult.

It is a a matter of perspective. Up until about six months ago I had negative thoughts about AI. Regardless of the bias of the programmer its here to stay. Educators are going to have to get very creative with their assignments. I was always a project-based educator, but more than ever students need to use their heart hand head (brain) connection. aso feedback from alot of teachers is they can tell an AI produce paper versus a student's own work given they know the students history baseline work. Ya gotta prove it though.

I find that it's so much easier to ask ChatGPT things compared to Google. It feels like even if I ask something generic I'll instantly get a summary of the contents of the first five search results that would come up on Google. But as an absolute nerd about some niche stuff, sometimes both Google and KZbin fail me and that's where this thing shines. Saved me with business terms on the banking website I didn't understand. Saved me time figuring out how to write a specific form for work that an institution we work with needed. Helped me find studies for an article I was writing about lgbtq+ mental health statistics. Summarized entire types of therapy for me into their core principles and how they can be applied. I really recommend asking the AI questions about social issues, because I often get things in the replies that I hadn't thought of yet. It's also amazing at recommending free resources on specific topics like institutes that specialize in the research of a specific mental illness or prevention of a certain disease. As someone that write tons of educational content it makes the brainstorming and structuring of posts so much easier before I start writing them in my own words. I just wish I could converse with it fully in my first language instead of having to translate stuff. That would make my student life much easier because that part of my life is in German unlike my professional life 😅

While convenient, in theory, it doesn't seem that I would use it much differently than I would use Google. For brainstorming sessions, a lot of the results are things I have already considered, and the rest is not really applicable, which ends up being similar to a listicle. Summarizing studies would be neat if I were still in university.

I think it shines when you can be hyper specific and detailed with your preferences and questions, whereas google can be a lot more general!

are there any privacy concerns re: using chatgpt like a therapist (i.e. revealing insecurities and health/financial/relationship/career issues)?
@muchelleb
@muchelleb 11 ай бұрын
Honestly, I've done very little research on this, and recommend you do your own! But as far as I know the privacy policy and terms and conditions state that they CAN personally identify you and can share all your data. I'd talk to chat gpt like I'd post anonymously on a Facebook group. Here's a post I found that reassured me: Best case scenario? Your data gets blended with a bunch of other data and while technically you can be identified, who cares? Most likely scenario? Your data gets sold and resold until it winds up in data brokers who then put you on lists and you start seeing a bunch of targeted ads and your google and youtube search results alter and you find yourself making slightly different purchasing decisions. Extremely Unlikely scenario: Someone who specifically knows you is in a position to look this stuff up and do something with it. John Oliver did a Last Week Tonight about data privacy that you might find helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raLRZJqIZryHmaM

Not sure if this is in the same vein, but I do know there have been some issues with AI providing triggering recommendations to people with eating disorders, for example. I would encourage all humans to be super cautious in asking AI anything that might result in a sensitive response that could make a situation worse or cause harm.

One of the things I love about your videos is your encouragement for people to think critically about how to improve and organize their life instead of relying on templates or step-by-step formulas. I feel like AI goes against this philosophy. I would rather consider questions that you've personally come up with, as a human being with life experience and critical thinking, than take prompts from an AI when I don't even know how the machine has come up with their results in the first place. I want to add that art and writing produced by AI (as shown in the Canva segment) are sourced by scraping data from real artists and writers, which is disrespectful and exploitative to people who put real work into what they produce, and haven't consented to having their data scraped. Also, ChatGPT has been shown to source made-up articles and quotes for informational writing, which is really risky when asking AI to summarize a study and other fact-based sources. There were definitely some helpful tips in this video, like using AI to make meal plans or recipes, but I would really prefer this video to be a one-off. As someone who has been a subscriber for years now, I can confidently say the content you offer yourself is more valuable than anything an AI could produce.
