He just need to keep that tune in from the last pass of FL2K, car has so much more top end but they won't turn it up for whatever reason... If I had to guess the frame issue is finally coming into play, probably why the cars so unsteady
@Sauerbrew7775 жыл бұрын
@@PBRatLord I think it's all down to aerodynamics. I think they said it takes 400-500hp for Leroy beat the wind resistance at 150+ mph. I bet some aero tuning would do wonders for high speed stability and horsepower efficiency.
@ryanspell5 жыл бұрын
He said in one of his videos that if he launches and it isnt 100% by half track then he lets out because it will just were the motor out I think its mostly traction issues
@PBRatLord5 жыл бұрын
@@Sauerbrew777 yeah we all saw that, but they also say all the time they aren't turning it up, probably to save other parts or whatever, that setup has a lot more to give in spite of aero. And again, I'm talking about how upset the car gets, given the damage and how far they're pushing it I wouldn't be surprised if it was a big reason behind why he can't get it to track straight. But yeah, he needs some basic aero to help the big end, though again they have a lot more brute force to throw at it...
@PBRatLord5 жыл бұрын
@@ryanspell he almost always bangs gears, even on shit passes, there's not many times he gives up completely on a pass. People go faster on the street on a 28x10.5, his issue isn't tire, it's a combo of suspension, aero, frame damage etc, its far from the ideal car to push into the 7s

The quickest stick shift car in the world is powered by a 4 banger designed in the 1980’s and the quickest GM stick shift car is powered by an LT. That should be enough to make us question everything in life. But seriously this shows there’s more than one way to skin a cat and new cars and modern technology isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Edit: also a testament to those guys’ building/tuning/driving abilities.

It is impressive. Not sure how AWD cars are racing 2wd cars in the same class. I heard he’s running like over 85lbs of boost with a solid billet block. Even know his 60ft time isn’t any faster than the 2wd drive cars I wonder if the red demon could put that much power down on a small tire in a rear wheel drive only car on the big end. That’s where that car is pulling around everyone and seems to have the advantage.
