It's just a destroked and forged lt1 with block filler so it's actually around 329 ci probably no more than 7 or 8k on the whole motor build

Billet does mean more power sooner and on the big end with more boost! Billet block don’t move under heavy loads like cast iron.Half the cylinders means weight brakes. I promise he was bringing in the power slow on the cast iron block. I like the red demon it’s a bad ride for sure. Put billet block in that Camaro and red demon going to be in trouble or really have to show his hand.

Iv always loved the first LT1 the z28 Camaro from those days was a super fun quick car!! Its basically a just a small block chevy but he said 1450hp or so that car is running so he had to of done alot of work to the lower end of that engine if its a stock block! I beleive if it came out of a caprice or a camaro its a two bolt main block, he would have to splay the block and do all kinds of other work.

Its not the lt1 that's magic. The lsx can just as easily make that kind of power. He has that thing dialed in perfectly. Weight distribution and weight transfer combined with a great tire help a ton with traction and tuning the suspension and slipper clutch help really get the short track times down low. Add in a great driver and he is going to be very hard to beat any time soon.
