I only brush my teeth with baking soda and pearl powder and also put a pinch of baking soda in your water so it neutralizes the acids in your blood so you won't get cavities or abscessed tooth. Drinking Baking soda is amazing cuz it took away the pain for my abscess tooth I have no more pain.

SUPER HELPFUL video John 🙏 I myself have struggled immensely over the past few years with dental issues as well, and also now see a Biological dentist who has been a lifesaver! I also use many of the same products you listed here, and have found them helpful. I also was under the impression that 'natural' alcohol-free mouthwash did not have the same negative effects on the nitrite/nitrate balance. I would love to info you have on this, because I will stop using natural mouthwash if you are correct. Thanks again for all your content!💜🤗🌱

Always fun to watch your videos John. You have the right tool for the right job! Lol 😅 I noticed you using the stick flosser that don’t work so well in terms of getting in and around your teeth and gums. Plus, those can cause injury and inflammation around your gum lines. Use a gentle ordinary floss ADA approved. Thread it through one way and pull it like a lace in one direction after hugging each tooth at the root gently. Otherwise, you can pull a weak tooth or a crown out. But, whatever works on the other hand. You’re probably taking much better care of your teeth than most people. I love my water pic. I have one with counter tank and hose that’s much less messy than the handheld all one piece units. My Phillips electric toothbrush I’ve been using the last 15 years has been a game changer. My first one lasted 10 years. With head changes every 3 months. I get the store brand heads much cheaper and same product. Haven’t had cavities in over 10 years. Even being vegan and raw. I see my dentist every 6 months. Those methods have made my visits far less painful.

@@David_Robert_1 thank you for asking! A few months ago I was still having pain in the area of the tooth that had the root canal. Told them to pull it, but after further tests & x-rays said it was not the tooth. Was told the same thing from my previous dentist that did the root canals. No one willing to pull it! Then I went to a chiropractor bc/ I was having back pain. They took X-rays & found out that C-1 & C-2, which are the top 2 vertebrae, were "out" she said it can cause pain in the face & jaw. After only a few adjustments the pain in the area of my tooth went away. BTW: at that dental appointment, I had nothing at all wrong with my teeth. I did just switch my diet 6 months prior. Not saying that is why. Just reporting what transpired.

@@huitrecouture animal foods provide nutrients required for healthy teeth. If you have eds, you absolutely need collagen in your diet. It's extremely difficult to get the necessary amount of protein, especially without getting a lot of carbohydrates. You can the best oral hygiene in the world, but if your blood sugar is unstable, it will wreck your teeth. It's really annoying encountering people who discount other people's experiences with the vegan diet, especially raw. I have known lots of raw vegans and it did a lot of damage to their teeth! Having a lot of smoothies is very destructive because you're not chewing. Chewing signals the body to send minerals to the teeth. And if you are not supplementing calcium phosphate on a vegan diet, there will be issues at some point.

Keto-vore 90 days. Oral flosser+baking soda in the h2o. Scraping. Oil pull 20 min. Several times a week. “Good Gums” powder. Ayurvedic mouth long rinse/pulling then gently brush it into gums and teeth. The Troublesome? Yes. But it will feel like a new mouth. Also, LANAP dental procedure said to be “scientifically” proven to stimulate regrowth of lost bone below gum line. Avoid neurotoxic fluoride always.

Thank you, John. Very thorough! I have had a tough time with my gums receding on the raw food diet. They are healthy and pink but a few teeth have some pockets that I am working on healing. I eat at least 2-3 lbs of greens a day and always combine it when eating fruits. One thing I have found that mitigates the pain is getting enough protein. There is a thin layer of protein that covers the teeth and when this is present , then I have no sensitivity. My gums also tend to heal when getting adequate protein. Protein on the raw diet can be hard to digest, like sprouted lentils, so it is a balancing act. Thanks again for your post. Very helpful!! You are amazing and have been a very valuable source of wisdom for my raw food diet.

We got A LOT of cavities after going vegan. After reading a few books I realized it was due to consuming sticky foods such as dry fruit. Cavities are the result of a chemical reaction which takes place whenever there is food in contact with teeth. The books taught us to rinse our mouths after eating and minimizing the sticky foods. The book I mainly recommend is More Chocolate No Cavities or something along those lines. It's an easy informative read.

I have found baking soda, magnesium, zinc, iodine, spinach, and collard greens to all significantly reduce or eliminate my tooth ache when applied topically/chewed/swooshed. Surprisingly, magnesium, zinc, and baking soda i know when swallowed will also reduce or eliminate the pain. I have found fruit to create the pain With this in mind I take magnesium glycinate and will take take a mineral supps soon. An ultraviolet light significantly reduces the pain. I have a sunkraft old school light. I found out this partially when driving home from work i moved my head so that sunlight would shine onto my jaw. It helped. Anyway ive definitely been vitamin d deficient, but feel much better after using the uv lamp and have used many times to reduce the ache significantly. Now recognizing that acid has been the trigger Ill be able to adjust. Surprisely ive found sugar water doesnt seem to trigger the pain and since flossing the pain was reduced significantly also.

Try swishing with xylitol crystals and brushing with bentonite clay. Xylitol kills the bad bacteria but doesn't kill the good bacteria like antibiotics. Xylitol tricks the bad bacteria into thinking it's sugar/food but they can't digest it so they die. It also helps increase the correct pH levels in your mouth so it helps strengthen teeth and gums. Bentonite clay bonds to the bad bacteria and removes it from the mouth. Also try doing a few mouth rinses with boiled water and Himalayan salt or even rock salt. I have bad perio right now and I'm going to try doing a detox with diatomaceous earth.

in my experience the gut microbiome is very dependent on the internetal (not just mouth) ph anything that has the potential to ferment or is sour (namely: all fodmap containing foods (both sour and sweet fruit inclusind!), carbonated water, fermented foods, acidic foods, vinegar) will pull the body more toward an acidic state, thats why id recommend u to swap out some of ur fruit for 3 day sprouted buckwheat/brown millet/naked oats - and yes i know its much less intuitive than eating tasty fruit...but it works...sooo... ;S i currently eat hardly eat any fruit, just a few berries for bonus nutrients, not for calories rly - rest are low fodmap grain sprouts, and nuts/seeds calorie-wise

I just use a really good fluoride-free toothpaste with "Nano Silver" twice a day, swish my teeth with water right after I eat anything, and floss once a day. I've also heard toothpastes with the ingredient "Nano Hydroxyapatite", as the one John mentions in this video, is highly effective and the future of dental hygiene as it will end up replacing fluoride for good. I just ordered a toothpaste with this ingredient and will use it along with my current Nano Silver toothpaste, which has also been proven to be highly effective. Perhaps getting a UV sanitizer makes sense as well. All the additional stuff he uses in this video sounds a bit OCD to be honest, agreed. I've been guilty of doing stuff like this so I can sympathize with him. But then I woke up one day and was like "fawk all this!" lol.

A wise man once said, "I have no issues with your Jesus. Jesus was a great man. But I do have a problem with you Christians, because you are NOTHING like this man Jesus."

@Mary Herbivorre you're so right on 'Christians' not being like their sanior. But it's a work in progress, am individual walk/ battle with the flesh, the devil and the world's testing lifestyle and pleasures resulting in ourvseparation from our holy creator. It's up to us to " do as God says, not as they do" We were given the instructions before leaving earth-- BIBLE
