The original Edwardian footed wheel invention was patented as "The Pedrail". It was the alternative competitor to the Holt "Caterpillar Track" method of moving heavy machinery over rough terrain. Guess which invention won the competition & became globally successful, in the end. Nice to see "The Pedrail" making brief comeback, after a 120 year gap.

with 14 feets on the wheel, it drives 14 feet per rotation. So "14ft/m = 1r/m". Using this equation we can calculate the speed of the wheel per rpm "(14x)ft/m = xr/m" and if i didnt screw up you get "(14x*0,3048*1000/60)km/h = xr/m" so for 1 rpm you have a speed of ~71km/h seems like you have got a pretty good bike there ;) Have a nice Christmas

This is definitely before your time and most of your viewers; in fact it's even before my time but you really remind me of me Dad's favourite--Danny Kaye. Especially that one skit where he is charging around yelling "STOP THE BUBBLE MACHINE!" Carry on mate yer much appreciated here in Montreal.

I love you! You never ask "Why", No, you ask, "Why not?" There is no reason for this, but it's the wheel we ALL needed.
