Naw. Like, I get the thought process, but that's the problem with current MCU, I want to see a movie about superhero/s. Don't want to see a movie that makes no sense if I don't consume the other 40 hours of annual footage produced by the MCU. Personally? I'd prefer them adding the "one shots" back as an end credit. Little 2-3 min self contained storys about the unsung scenes to tie up loose ends, ie: "The consultant" explaining why it was Tony Stark that O.G tried recruiting the Hulk via Ross.

But I think Ned is going to take the role of friend who eventually becomes the goblin, maybe no longer remembering Peter but still having his friendship with MJ he gets jealous when Peter returns to the scene and slowly goes mad and becomes the hobgoblin l, maybe us9ng scraps of the green goblins tech. That way Peter also creates his greatest villain as a consequence of his own actions and choices, as it is wiping Ned's memories of him that eventually makes him go mad. It also prevents the spiderman films getting stick in only having the same villain l, we've done the green goblin enough times now, I'm happy to focus on other villains for a bit. Maybe later down the line we could have Norman return (I'm thinking Mark hamill would be great as the businessman, trying to be president version) but other villains need a chance, we've had four out of eight films with them.

"Aunt May finding out Peter’s identity, and everyone thinking Petter killed that guy from roadhouse" I wouldn't call something integral to the plot of the sequel "a brief sequence at the beginning of the film." Peter's identity being revealed and him being blamed for the death of Mysterio is why Peter goes to Dr. Strange in NWH, trying to undo it, starting a chain of events that leads to everyone Peter knows forgetting who he is. Aunt May being so involved in his Spider-Man activities leads to her death.

The question of who bought Stark/Avengers Tower always feels to me like it was never supposed to be anything noteworthy. Nothing more than a minor background detail to provide a reason for why all of that equipment was put in transit for the Vulture to steal. It's not like the movie lingers on it and makes a big deal about the buyer of the building, so it really doesn't seem like it was ever intended to be a mystery, let alone an "abandoned storyline." People/corporations you've never heard of or care about buy buildings all the time. Moving on. But as time has passed, so many people have latched onto it as if it's a big mystery, and crafted all of these fan theories, that I don't doubt that Marvel will retroactively make it into something important and say "Yes, we totally had that in mind aaallll along. Definitely."

The idea of Marvel just rolling with whatever plot threads have worked and ignoring the rest actually... kinda sounds like a good idea. The comics basically did the same forever, they can just say that whatever dangling plot thread they left, like Doctor Strange going on an adventure, just happened offscreen and now the character is just back to where we are familiar with them being. Just embrace the fact that these movies are kinda ridiculous if you over-analyse them and just try and tell a good story with each movie/phase without being held down by what came before, if it doesn't help the story.

My boring predictions: Dr Strange will be in the Dark Dimension at the start of Doomsday and he'll find out more slog about how dimensions/incursions work and he'll the same plot device as Hulk/Banner in Infinity War to let the rest of the folks know what the crack is. The first time we meet Thor again, he'll be staring down Hercules and they'll say "Ready" "Oh yes" and then it'll pan out and reveal it's a drinking game or a game of table football or dart and they're just best mates. And finally the Eternals will be killed off (probably Secret War) to show how dangerous God Doom is as the Big Bad, probably fed to the Deadlands or destroyed in the blink of an eye. Bascially, they'll be wrapped up but in a uninspiring and unengaging way.

My favorite sort of Marvel stingers are the ones that are very obviously intended to set up a specific story for a sequel, only to have that sequel care so little about it that it either ignores the stinger entirely or disposes of that storyline within the first ten minutes of the next movie. Otherwise known as "the Thor"

This is a major problem I've had with many post Endgame Marvel movies, in that it just feels like they're only doing these big plot twist-y post credits out of obligation at this point. They know all of their audiences are expecting SOMETHING at the end, so they have to throw something in that they probably have no intention of following up on whatsoever.

Moon knight was genuinely one of the best recent marvel projects, I enjoy his character in the show more than in the comics, especially them delving deeper into his DID and Egypt itself, acting was wonderful and Scarlett Scarab was so cool

Deadpool and Wolverine even had DP cause an incursion because he specifically went and got another universe's Wolverine plus a Future Laura from The Void all because "Logan was already dead", except Logan takes place in the year 2029 and DP&W was set in 2024. He could've just found _his current Logan_ from _before_ Prof X kills all of the X-Men (that incident happens in 2028) and then put him back where he found him after things were done.

I'd pay good money for Sam Wilson to cross paths with Nelly Furtado for both of them to silently acknowledge their respective birdness (à la Charlie Sheen/Michael Sheen in Hot Shots! Part Deux), ideally with Rick & Morty's Birdperson featured on a screen in the background. Then, in the climactic fight scene Sam opens a can of not-yet-expired whoop-ass accompanied by Furtado's "I'm like a Bird". Make it happen, Feige!

My theory is that the rings, like in the comics, are from an alien civilization called the Makluans, which are giant dragon-like aliens, the most prominent being Fin Fang Foom. That's probably way they're called rings and not bangles, because for someone as big as the Makluans, they are rings. So I imagine Fin Fang Foom will be the villain in Shang-Chi 2.
