Lots of projects on the go at once, so it's great you've got your son to help. I was lucky to help a little with my cousin's grape harvest this year, it's called the "vendemmia". And it was cool to see the process after picking and how they get the grape must. The juice of the grape is boiled down to get "mosto cotto" which becomes quite dark, like molasses, and it's used to make cookies and sweets, like your neighbour said.

I always look forward to your videos. Every time one pops up I go make a cup of coffee and sit back and relax while watching. Loving seeing the progress and the little glimpses of community life you have there.

That is such beautiful stonework and the pointed wall is stunning, it's well worth all the hard work!

You can buy telescopic pole mounts for laser levels. They wedge between floor and ceiling. Or use a construction prop if you have one. Ciao!

Nice video Joseph, thanks for sharing! It is always nice to see the results of the pointing job. I am currently doing it on brick columns. It is harder than pleople might think while watching a video. Your son did a great job on that wall, and the final result of that room will be fantastic!

Thank you. My son went back to Texas so now I work alone. It takes a lot longer without his help! Good luck with your project.

@@housemarche longer and more complicated as well... especially if you are planning to do the dry ceiling on your own. Thanks for the wishes! I had almost fineshed restauring my ceiling to find out there are leaks from the roof, which will have to be re-done (when I bought I already knew it would require to be re-done so not a total surprise). I am sure we will have the chance to exchange visits, we are around 35km far away and I also have a friend in Serra de' Conti 🙂 Ciao, Edo
