The US military was working on an idea where instead of building bases like they did in Viet Nam & Iraq & Afghanistan and then have to vacate and abandon the base they would assemble a bunch of giant barges offshore. On this floating base would be an airstrip, repair facility, barracks, chow hall, recreation facility, supplies, basically everything you would find on a US military base. After the conflict was over, the barges could be broken up & towed back to the US. !

The LeTonneau is driven by electric motors, one in each of its massive wheels. The engine powers the electric wheels. It's a really cool machine. The Ford Big Foot actually uses old electric motor powered wheels from an old LeTonneau land train. Really interesting.

Yes, but I want him to build a heavy machinery like that without a diesel engine and indeed without diesel tank. I am poor, but if he manages to build something like that able to run ,and work in WY desert all day long just on one charge, I will give, my 2 weeks pay to a charity he chooses. It is not much to many people, it's a $1000 , but it is a lot in my situation. I dare him.

Wait, the American Dream is 30m long, and that makes it 10 times longer than a normal one... so a normal limousine is a mere 3m long? Shorter than most normal cars? And earlier, the L2350 is a mere 1.5m wide? Bagger 288 not being portable, seconds later showing it on the move.
@drone-time2 жыл бұрын
Right off the bat, the L2350 is 4M x 1.5M? My Miata is 1.72M wide... so this beast is skinnier than my Miata? That doesn't sound right. According to Wikipedia, the tires alone on the L2350 are 1.78M wide, so less than a minute into the video and already it's looking like a garbage video.

I like informative videos. But when/if they start out with an error so bad that a small child would know it is wrong, it might make an intelligent person doubt the research or knowledge of the people behind the videos. It is compounded when the captions also make the same stupid error. The huge bucket loader is obviously over 1.5 meters wide. You might take time to fix this.
