15 MASSIVE Graphical Leaps Between Video Game Sequels

Much like any other piece of entertainment, games are also bound by the technical constraints of the target hardware.
And as the capability of consumer hardware grows, so do the games developed for that platform. There have been several instances through the years where popular franchises offered significant graphical bumps between adjacent entries. With this video, we will be taking a look at 15 such instances.

Gran Turismo 2 to GT3, Tekken 3 to Tekken Tag, Silent hill to SH2, Deus Ex to Deus Ex HR, Burnout 2 to B3, God of War 2 to 3, Doom2 to Doom3, Mortal Kombat 4 to MK Deadly Alliance, Batman Arkham City to Arkham Knight, Resident Evil 3 to RE4, Tony Hawk 2 to TH3, Final Fantasy 6 to FF7, and etc etc.

Alot of glaring omissions... there's very little difference from GT6 to GT7 but agreed 2 to 3 was day and night.... Super Mario World SNE to Super Mario 64... No Soul Calibur PS1 to Dreamcast either.

If you’re gonna use any naughty dog game as an example it should’ve been last of us to last of us 2, with 7 years between sequels & a new console generation you can see how far graphics came between the two.

Metal gear solid 4 was the first and last metal gear I played. It was so amazing. I used to try to play before school and get stuck watching the 30 minute cutscene freaking out. Hoping it would finish so I could save the game😂😂😂
