You guys said you wanted MORE INTENSE bodyweight workouts! Well, be careful what you wish for! Today’s workout is EXTREME guys. You will not believe just how quick you’ll start huffing and puffing as you try to keep up with me. But that’s a GOOD thing! Who wants to do easy workouts at home? Those don’t give results! If anything, they’re just a demotivating waste of time! BUT, as always my workouts are “timed”. That means you complete as many reps as YOU can for each exercise. Even if you can only do 3 - 5 reps during the 30 second work period, that’s AMAZING! As long as you keep moving, you are a winner! And I promise that as long as you stick with it, you will improve every time you try this workout! So get your water bottles ready and LET’S GET STAHHHTED! - 9 exercises - 3 - 4 rounds - 30 sec per exercise per block - Rest 15 seconds between blocks - Burpee Finisher - 20 reps as fast as possible! *(**1:00**)- ROUND 1* *BLOCK #1* (1:05)- Bulgarian Split Squat (LEFT) (1:37)- Bulgarian Split Squat (RIGHT) (2:10)- Alt. Push-Up To Superman *BLOCK #2* (2:59) - Couch Dip (3:31)- Frogger (4:06)- Bodyweight Row *BLOCK #3* (4:53)- V-Up (5:28)- Bodyweight Biceps Curl (6:00)- Snow Angel *(**6:40**)- ROUND 2* *BLOCK #1* (6:46)- Bulgarian Split Squat (LEFT) (7:20)- Bulgarian Split Squat (RIGHT) (7:53)- Alt. Push-Up To Superman *BLOCK #2* (8:41) - Couch Dip (9:14)- Frogger (9:49)- Bodyweight Row *BLOCK #3* (10:35)- V-Up (11:08)- Bodyweight Biceps Curl (11:42)- Snow Angel (12:46)- BURPEE FINISHER! - 20 REPS AS FAST AS YOU CAN! @@jrard92 how much muscle you gain is mostly determined by your diet. Skinny fat is a result of not eating enough food and always being in a calorie deficit. At some point with workuts like these you will plateau and need to lift heavier weights to build mre muscle. But you can still build a better than average physique with lean muscle doing thee home workouts as long as you are eating enough. Does that make sense? I have a video on skinny fat, you should check it out. Very eye opening! muscularstrength.com/article/Why-Are-You-Skinny-Fat

@@asaarvi159 Good work mate. I've got to lose this stomach fat. Which videos have you been using specifically?
@asaarvi1594 жыл бұрын
@@thetoughgroup Hi, usually I eat high protein/low carbs/below maintenance, first thing is to get diet in check. I haven't made any changes to diet but had plateaued with my gym routine and couldn't shed any fat. Since lockdown I've been trying to cut (it does go against conventional wisdom which says to maintain if the stimulus isn't there). I've been doing mostly HIIT workouts such as this one which have made a huge difference. I've been cutting/dirty bulking for a few years and have never seen fat melt away this quick, its actually shocking. For ab fat you can't spot reduce but it's important to get blood flow through the abs to facilitate fat loss there (cant remember who said it but its true!). Core workouts also help with poor resting muscle tone which can make the gut look bigger, and they indirectly help with tackling anterior pelvic tilt which a lot of lifters have, which again causes an extended gut. I usually do this workout or the '20 minute bodyweight workout' routine every day on my lunch break. Then a weights session (I have a few dumbbells but you can easily train every muscle group without weights - e.g. you can train back using 2 bedsheets and a door) in the evening. Finally I do Scott's 10 minute 6 pack workout at night. I have a public playlist called 'home workout' where I've compiled the workouts that I follow including these videos. It's by no means comprehensive but there's videos in there for every muscle group. Feel free to check it out, and happy shredding 🙂

Just one question about the "daily" part of the workout. I have often heard that the muscles build up during recovery time, which is why ideally you should let a muscle group rest for 48 hours before working it again. Any opinion / comment on this and how it relates to your video? Thanks for the ideal workout by the way! Love it!
@Adriana.Gabriela4 жыл бұрын
I think you can do them daily because you won't gain a lot (or any?) muscle from these unless you're a beginner. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, this is a HIIT workout? Still, variety is important. Even if your goal is just building muscle, you'll do it faster with varying workout types over time
@Nick-pf2ms4 жыл бұрын
@@Adriana.Gabriela I actually am a beginner! I thought it was not just for muscle building but also for muscle health that they advise the recuperation.... It's just very confusing what to follow for a balanced workout scheme. There's an overload of information everywhere.
@ScottHermanFitness4 жыл бұрын
The key is to listen to your body. If you feel too sore to workout, then rest. But as you become more advanced you will be able to do a workout like this daily. Think about people who do manual labor all day. They burn more calories and work harder than this workout. Know what I mean? Yeah
