This new moon yoga practice can be done anytime you feel like you need to reset something in your life and refocus your attention. In this practice, you will be guided through some quick and simple movements to release energy and then move into a supported meditation practice. You are invited to set your intentions on whatever it is that you need and to release fears and barriers to pursuing these intentions.
Suggested:
A yoga bolster (or firm pillow or two)
A couple of yoga blocks (or thick books)
This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.
