I have no idea how this video showed up in my rotation but thank you. I am a single father of a daughter and have had conversations with my daughter about this. Very uncomfortable conversations but I believe that as a single father of a female I must have these conversations. I am going to share this with my daughter to watch on her own time privately. Yes she will be like "dad omg this is so embarassing!" Listen child your father talking about these things will only benefit you in the long run for your personal heatlh. I already supply non-perfumed wet wipes and installed a bidet. All I can say is I am trying to be that dad that is informed and learn and help my daughter as best I can in a very sensitive but informed way. Thank you for all you are doing. Little ladies, grown ladies, and MEN should be informed. I wish there were better vidoes out there for Men too. Men can get nasty as well! Cleanliness and personal hygene is important.
@tracyjacquet19022 жыл бұрын
I am so happy that you are willing to be informed. Some Men feel like personal hygiene only applies to women when it doesn’t. As a normal human being we would want to smell good and feel good, and be clean so that we don’t get sick.

Using panty liners can help the scent down there as well. I also sleep with no underwear at night, helps her breathe after being cooped up all day. 😊

To me panty liners has opposite effect, they always smell bad even after short period of time. I prefer using tissue down there. Yes it is less comfortable than liners but tissue don’t trap an odour as liners
@marciaanderson6682 жыл бұрын
Panty liners may help when you have a heavy discharge but it's best to get the proper treatment for the cause of the discharge. I've worn panty liners from I was a young woman and got hooked on it. However, it can actually exacerbate an issue because it holds moisture and can cause bacteria to build up hence creating a bad odour. If you can sleep comfortably without underwear when possible, that is a plus.

@yvonnewood77572 жыл бұрын
My doctor advised against using panty Liners. Most of them have a plastic lining which helps create moisture which aids in the production of bacteria. He advised that I should use a good hand towel. At first, I thought he was crazy. He said that handtowels are simple paper which is a natural product. I did what he said and I noticed the difference right away. I was drier than with the Liners and the persistent infections were gone.

I love this video and wish I’d had something like this growing up. One thing I would like young ladies (and grown ladies) to know is that if you have issues with sweating and odor, it’s okay to shower multiple times per day. I’m not a one shower per day girl, or a bird bath girl. I used to think that something was wrong with me, but my body is just different. If your one shower and deodorant routine doesn’t last the whole day, take another shower, sis. You’re not alone!

I was raised to use five towels/washcloths per bath or shower - one for the upper body, one for the vulva, one for the butt and the other two for the legs and feet. I have seven sets on rotation and launder and air dry my washcloths and towels on Sundays. I have feminine wash for the vulva and have never douched or sprayed because my best friend's mom is a nurse and she told us never to do that when we were tweens. I wear 100% organic cotton underwear and use a women-specific probiotic. I eat a pretty omnivorous diet and drink lots of tea for my water intake. And I'll always use a feminine wash, never bar soap, shower gel or just water alone.

I grew up doing the whole douching routine, the water bottle, water and vinegar or the store-bought ones. I did that as well as well as bathing.I used to get all kinds of vaginal infections so when the gynecologist told me that those were what caused them, I stopped cold turkey. She explained to me how our vaginas are self-cleaning and regular washing was all that was required. Since I stopped the douching which was over 10 years ago, there has been no vaginal infections. And I’m sure my vagina thanks me😌

Since I was 15 years old. Change my washcloth everyday. Can't imagine washing with the same towel 2 or 3 days since I've been an adult. I don't grow much hair on my face However, I change my face razor and pillow cases weekly. Brush my teeth 2-3 times a day. My teeth do not feel clean unless I floss and use a tongue cleaner. There’s no alternative to just using soap to clean the vaginal 2 sets of lips & the man in the boat and the space between front and back holes (perineum), avoid going inside. Only the D was made to go in there if you ask me. That’ll help people understand to leave it alone outside of that or it’ll be a problem. I think washcloths should be changed per shower. I also suggest doing a smell check before thinking you’re clean Bc some time you have to wash more than once or change soaps if the smell refuses to wash away. A hoe bath on hot days is good too, 1 or more quick washes of private part’s in a day or use wipes. Keep it dry down town until it’s time to party! Rule of thumb, smell check to know when and what to clean every 8 hrs, and scented lotion and smell goods extends bath times. Try not to stress Bc that’ll speed up your need to wash again.

Thank you Sweetheart for this video. I agree with everything that you talked about, but shaving the face. Shaving the face - adds more hairs onto the face and the hair grow back thicker. Plucking the hair is better for me because you don't have to pluck often like shaving the face and the hair takes a while to grow back. It's painful, but you don't have to shave like a man. I'm 63 of age and I get the same two or three hairs under my chin since I was forty. My mother told me when I was a young woman never shave the face unless you want a beard or mustache. Your other advice is 💯 correct especially drinking water. Keep putting out good advice 👌. Thank you again!

So true about changing your washcloths. Because I was reusing mine for several days. I couldn't figure out why I had reoccurring infections, because at the time I was celibate. Then I realized my towel felt a little slick when I wet it! That's when the light bulb went off!!I realized bacteria was setting up in my cloth!! I now use a NEW washcloth daily! I'll NEVER use a washcloth twice for my V again!!

Thank you for your tip about water! Everyone says that we all should drink more water, that it is beneficial for our health, but I've never heard the exact reasons why it is so. Thank you for opening my eyes to the issue! I've always had a problem with being dry down there, even when I was 20. I even consulted several gyns about this, had hundreds of any kinds of checks, tried any kinds of lubes and even took hormones, and noone said JUST DRINK THAT F****NG WATER. Thank you sis for saving my love life! Now I know what to do. You gave me hope😊

and this is address to all ladies cuz I'm a lady one thing that will keep your but JJ healthy it's not sleeping around if you are sleeping around with multiple men I'm going to tell you right now and the OBGYN can tell you this you going to keep all kind of vagina infections like seriously even if you use a condom because there are still so many things you can catch with a condom cuz you got all the skin around the condom that's open so I don't know I don't remember her saying this sleeping around with multiple partners would keep you in the doctor's office and this is true no lie

My routine is to first floss, brush my teeth, tongue and swish with hydrogen peroxide. I was taught to use washcloths, never loofahs. Also I use a different washcloth for my face. Now I use different soaps for different places. I stopped using the scented cute liquid soaps and now I use the following in order. Dial antibacterial bar soap on all parts of my body except ms. kitty. I let the soap sit for a minute, paying particular attention to armpits, neck, under my breasts, belly button, butt, feet. Then I follow with castile soap and or tea tree soap. I might use the dial again. My final round I use a microbial skin cleanser like hibiscrub on my armpits, butt, neck, under my breasts and feet. Finally I use vaginal soap on ms. kitty. Now I have had lifelong acne so I stay working on my face it and stays pretty smooth. I have oily skin as well. I use Paula's Choice Clear Skin trio which has the facial soap (with salicylic acid), toner and benzoyl peroxide. I get the following equate (yes walmart) brands: -Grapefruit face scrub, -Dual power moisturizer -advanced firming day cream -eye cream Finally I use at least 50% sunscreen on my face. I never leave the house without sunscreen. Now the after shower routine starts. I spray my armpits with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water, coconut oil, dial deodorant and mitchum. I use coconut oil on armpits, under my breasts, and feet. Coconut oil has antibacterial properties. Yes it seems like a long routine but I have it down to a science so it goes pretty smooth for me. Also, it doesn't hurt to take baths and put either some organic apple cider vinegar or hydrogen peroxide in the water.

I like Dove soap too but no perfume soap or toilet paper for down there back or front. Only white toilet paper. I was going to mention the bath gloves. They are great but I don't use them on my face at all. I also have the little blades from Amazon but not for my face. I use Nair with almond oil and also flawless hair remover on my face. My dentist always said you don't have to floss your teeth, only the ones you want to keep. Water is so good for us for sure. I don't drink anything with sugar, no juice, sodas and only one coffee. Thank you so much for all of the tips for they are really invaluable to us. I thoroughly enjoyed this video.

Great tips! Ladies if you’re shaving your face, chin or neck area be careful of folliculitis. If you do experience folliculitis, grab a bottle of Bactine Max and Hibiclens. These help to cleanse the skin of bacteria. Always do a spot test before using these products.

If you can afford it wax the underarms. For darker skinned girls hyperpigmentation is real. Noticed a huge difference when I stopped shaving that area. Thanks for the advice Alisha. Happy 2022 to you!

I used to have an issue drinking water too. If it’s ice cold it’s easier to drink and try infusing your water with fruit like lemon, lime, or pineapple. I also switch it up by using crystal light. One thing that’s also important is seeing your dr. at least once a year for a physical. A lot of ppl feel fine and just assume that they’re ok.

I have a long career in the cosmetic field with some of the best lines in the world. In all my years of makeovers I just about faint when I touch a women who has been shaving their face. It's the long term effects that you'll regret. If you continue, in time you will get a 5 o'clock shadow and you will be doing it twice a day and will have stubs that your partner or anyone can see and feel. There are many creams that you apply a few minutes before u shower and the results leave your skin looking beautiful. If u have a real issue with hair there's always electrolisis [sp]. It can be a little expensive but a small area at a time can be done. Also, if u talk to your physician your hormones may need to be corrected. In any case, do yourself this one important thing, never, ever shave.

You can simplify the number of wash cloths you need in the shower by installing a bidet attachment onto your toilet for cleaning your bum. We invested in a super cheap one (about $60) and it gets the job done.
@KiraBKADestroyerOfWorlds2 жыл бұрын
And, if that's outside of your budget, you can literally just keep a bottle in the bathroom, and fill it with water and use it to cleanse before wiping. I personally prefer to go to the dollar store, buy a bottle of either cheap shampoo (which I empty into another container and use it as hand soap) or conditioner (which I use when I shave instead of shaving cream--game changer, trust me!), and then wash that bottle out, and use it. Also, if the cap isn't ideal for some reason, such as the opening being too big, the cap on your dish liquid bottle is usually PERFECT.

Wonderful tips! I’m glad you found something better than the Summers Eve sprays. I stopped using the brand 20 years ago. I started using unscented washes from then and organic sanitary pads. I had a whole life shift after going vegan. I’ve since gone back to meat but mostly organic when I want it.

Thank you for your video. I became a subscriber because of a similar video that you had. I just wanted to include my thoughts about drinking more water. It’s a great message we all need to hear. I recently had issues with my left kidney and this past spring it was removed. I like to believe that I drank plenty of water but some days I drank a lot of soda. Before my kidney was removed I had a lot of issues and one issue was very embarrassing as a woman. And it was not resolved until my kidney was removed. So to anyone reading this please drink water and in moderation have juice or soda if you choose. But drink water. Having a kidney removed is not fun.
