I really recommend watching a video on whisking egg whites to a hard peak. It opens up many new things you can make such as homemade swiss roll, meringue shells and more!! It's worth learning this skills. I also recommend you using an electric whisk for this

Hey ladry r it was a fail because you didnt beat the egg whitw enough you whisked them ideally u need to use an electric hand mixture in high they must be stiff enough so u can turn the bowl upside down and they don't spill out only then do u fold them gentle into the other ingredients. Maybe it will be 3rd time lucky lol px

Your hair looks great. A change is go sometimes :) sorry to hear you lost your Mum P.S the bowl and utensils must be free from grease before you whisk egg whites otherwise they will never become stiff peaks with any signs of yoke or grease on surfaces. Acid helps too. So a touch of vinegar or cream of tartar

I would recommend next time you make pizza , put the basil on the pizza once the pizza is cooked.(so it does not get brown, and the flavour remains like fresh basil) Same with the drizzle of olive oil. Greetings from Spain!

Can leave meat in the freezer indefinitely, providing it hasn't defrosted in said freezer. Its just the quality will be different, freezer burn ECT. But it's perfectly safe so long as cooked thoroughly. Love the hair. X

Hi there. It was nice to hang out while you cooked and shopped, your videos are very entertaining, so thanks for that. Just a note about whipping egg whites for the tiramusu. Like some of your other commenters said - you need to whip them until they form a stiff foam. That's because whipping hard denatures the protein (changes the structure of the protein) in the egg in same way that cooking changes the protein. So no amount of leaving it to set will work. That's going to be tricky to achieve without an electric whisk i'm afraid.

The hair looks gorgeous and suits you very well. It's absolutely fine to cook any food from frozen and technically any meat can live forever in a freezer but according to health and safety standards, they're best to be consumed within 9-12 months. You really do need electric beaters to get the right consistency for the tiramisu custard, it's very difficult to get to this thickness with a regular whisk ♥

Your videos are so much fun! I admire your style - your hair looks great both long and short. With the chicken, let it thaw for a day in the refrigerator. I put mine in a zip lock bag with some seasoning and allow it to marinate for a day or two. Then pop it in the oven and it will come out perfect. You can use it in salads or eat it by itself. I say give up on the tiramisu and buy one in the store - it looks like too much fuss. Keep up the good work; your videos are the best!!!!!

Nice job with the shopping. Hubby and I often get 2 Co-op surprise grocery bags thru the Too Good To Go app £6.58 total often for £40-45 worth of groceries that will last us the week. We spend more on food for our 3 cats (two of whom are on special diets, including Arthur) than we do on ourselves. 😹

@@BudgetFoodieUK aw bless you. Honestly, this way of shopping has been a life-saver for hubby and I. We are both self-employed and everything is getting so expensive these days, whether petrol for hubby who needs to travel in his work as a piano tuner, and for us both for cost of materials, cat care for three and all the household expenses. Honestly, I don't know what we'd do if we weren't savvy but there's always more ways of saving to be made. Xx

I’ve never been to Italy but I’d love to go I’ve been to other countries but I have a long bucket list of destinations I’d like to go to. You can buy a cheap hand mixer for about £8 Argos/ supermarkets etc love tiramisu but yeah mix until eggs are like thicker and peaked. I’d prefer your hair longer than you normally have it but shorter than the extensions, you suit shorter hair but it’s nice. I get a mixed bag of shopping too :) 😻

Dear Friend, (and Hi Jack) - I think I see your eggwhite problem right away. If you look at the huge pic of the egg white bowl at 2:43 minutes an look in the upper right hand corner there is a small dot of yolk. Julia Child drilled into my head that egg whites cannot contain even the tiniest bit of yolk, or they wont mount up properly. The yolk can be removed using the egg shell. So don't loose heart, this can happen to anyone. I don't know if you tried it again. but I think you should give it a go. The general rules for frozen food is meat is good up to 6 months and everything else for a year. (use your nose if it still smells good I trust that, if not toss it) As for cooking frozen chicken, it will NEVER cook deep down inside. You have to defrost it thoroughly (leave it in the fridge over night is the safest).Jacques Mexico

I love mixing high and low foods (posh and cheap as chips) ...you cooked the chicken to death so it's probably fine. The general freezer rules are 6 months for meats and a year for most other things.
